This is beyond belief……Does anybody realize what this family does…they not only play and record 5 new songs in one sitting…But in the last week they have had Live Gigs traveling to another island Bohol and local into Cebu....Not to mention that Dad has also had gigs in other band he plays in……When they record every week or so they have to set up all the gear that they have had to break down and travel with….Then they choose one day to set up the music gear and the film gear and do 5 new songs….
…….They pick their one day to record…but they are not just recording songs they know and have practiced or even played before …… ………..These recordings are first attempts at playing the songs…Dad makes a playlist a couple weeks before that they listen to…Then recording day comes…..and they do 3-5 songs like I said most all are for the first time ever hearing them never mind having to learn and then play them……
…So in one day they are not only setting up the studio with their gear but then they have to work out Dad’s arrangements …… But also Learn and then rehearse and then play and record the song and its not One Song…They just did 5 Xmas songs….They arranged Learned Rehearsed Played and Recorded 5 New Songs IN ONE DAY…..and not easy songs….I couldn’t even learn just the words to one song in a day never mind the music and harmonies and solos etc etc….
…….They just did 5 part Vocals and harmonies on the Jackson 5 Give Love on Xmas Day….a crushing blazing version of Little Drummer Boy….a Taylor Swift version of George Michaels Last Xmas….Boney M….Marys Boy Child and the classic Jingle Bell Rock….
…….They set up Learned dads arrangements Rehearsed Played and Recorded 5 New Songs they never played before in one session how is that possible ????
…..Then Dad has to mix them all down and Mom has to edit the videos and post everything….while maintaining a household of 6 with 4 children….Can you imagine if they had a team to support them giving them the time that each song deserves…Can you imagine ?

Missioned Souls (Estd 2022) - Currently one of the best & hardest working cover bands on You Tube. "Ice" had his 11th bday a couple of wks ago & singer Stacey turned 12 a few months ago. Since the 1st posts to their KZbin channel in Nov2023 Missioned Souls has covered over 110 covers of hits (on avg about 1 new song every 3-4 days!) from 7+decades. By rough count, 8 from the '50's. 16 from the 60's, 9 from the 70's, 22 from the 80's, 24 from the 90's & 32 post 2000. Not only do Mom & Dad perform on about 2/3 of the songs, dad is also the sound engineer & mom looks after video editing. Mom & the 3 daughters all sing & dad & the 3 girls have all shown they can play both guitar and bass.

Glad you reacted to these guys. They deserve the exposure. Great cover of Foo Fighters ‘Everlong’ by just the kids too. Good covers with mom and dad are Toto’s Rosanna and Journey’s Separate Ways.

1. This is the kind of reactor I like. Pauses in the right places. On point commentary. If I could like your rxn twice I would have done so. You've shown your authority having caught Neisha's in-ear adjustment and Ice's leg timing technique. Even from just the get go, you've already elucidated on the complexity of the seemingly simple finger picking at the start. 2. Neisha, we've run out of superlatives for her so won't try and dig deep for one. Could just add how I like that she's enjoying herself and showing it in their recent performances. She's also more animated now in showing her enjoyment. 3. For a while there, I thought you'll overlook Naces' playing. As you say she's "nailing all the phrases". I'd call it flavourful bass playing. A lot of umami in there to satisfy our musical palate. Credit also goes to Papa Secan for the great mix, not letting the bass be drowned out of the mix, nor overpowering it. I've heard a lot of bass players, even some they call prodigies... and Naces bests them in how tasteful her playing is. I like her style probably a bit more than even her father.

Their cover in the reproduction of this song 'Bestie' would appeal to be a 'reprint' from the futuristic sonic printing machine. They sound so accurate in every beat and sound of the original. How they have done it is beyond our current understanding and we would have to leave it to future scientists and experts to find out.

I've been following this family band for almost a year now, and they are just amazing, whether if it is the entire family or just the kids. I think the Dad does the sound work and he always does a good job, because they do quite a few open-air performances of their covers. These kids are exceptionally talented and deserve to be supported. The entire family is very humble about what they do. The Mom and the Dad are also both exceptional musicians and vocalists. Everyone should check them out. There is also another cover band from the Philippines that is extremely talented, but the name escapes me right now. I will get the name to you to check them out. They are also connected with a school for the blind in the Philippines and some of musicians and singers are students from the school. They've done some excellent covers also.

Mincho loves her thingamajig that has the word "harmonizer" in it - it kicks up the guitar in pitch and can make it seem thin or "whiny". It's the only thing I wish they'd change, although it fits the song sometimes.

Incredible family band! I saw the Rosanna cover, which was really good, and noticed that the lead guitarist looked so happy after she finished the song, Bestie. Does it mean that Kanami's guitar solo is so unusual and hard to cover? I don't know, but I just wonder why she looked so happy🤔

I'm 73 and so happy to see rock evolve in this fashion, and The Warning, and Band Maid etc. All those hot shot dudes who had to grimace, contort, and act out while playing- meh, that sillyass shit is so over. I'll take the seemingly egoless approach of the aforementioned any day, playing for the crowd not to the crowd. Are you referring to Sixiwanzi, by chance? One of my favorite new bands I found from KZbin recently. 4 person all female band based out of Hong Kong. They have great cover songs, and even more incredible originals. "Dao" is one of their original so gs that has a recently released video, and the first that has all english subtitles. Definitely worth a listen!

Don't freak out but the drummer also plays the guitar, the bass, and the piano. As a matter of fact, they all play multiple instruments. The girl who is playing the bass (in this song) normally plays the piano. Dad is the bassist, and Mom sings and plays instruments too!
