Got to be one of my favourite floating things in the world. We were lucky enough to do a 12 hour excursion on her when visiting Scotland earlier this year from Glasgow to Oban. We were also joined by a rescue helicopter for a good 20 minutes showing off their skills. Such an amazing journey and really captured the spirit of Scotland.

It's not going that fast under steam and paddle, I can assure you of that. Propulsion has been modernised to diesel and screw.

@@dancinglevi8927 That doesn't mean nothing. The paddle wheels assist a little but no comparison to the tiller prop. The paddle wheels are mostly for show.

The PS Waverley is still very much steam powered it’s quite obvious as the engine room in open to the public
