I tried a couple times a few days ago to download and install it but it kept acting crazy but i believe it’s to do with where I installed it along with onedrive being unstable but I definitely been trying to cop it! Along with the 10 dollar plugin thats decent I really like that new granular fx sample plugin from Arturia but damn! 100 bucks is a lot of scratch 😆

Not feeling COSMOS. I installed it twice because the first time i thought i installed it wrong or something because it took almost an entire day for it to categorise my samples (and it only a small library). And once it did it would take forever to show them in order to preview them. But unfortunately after the second installation it was just as slow. I eventually ended up uninstalling it for good. I'm happy with knowing where my samples are and using Mac's own preview to hear the samples.

What is THE difference between "lops" and "one shots" BESIDES "Switching loop off"?? And what if I "chop" a "loop"? Is that a "sin"?? Cos I once turned a 4/4 bass loop into a 7/4 song but the loop creator told me "The drums and bass were out of sync in some places"....

chopping a loop is never a sin imo, sometimes we're so creative that even the loop creator is thrown off

I'm not hating on their stuff - I ONLY use songs I like (of which there are millions) - trying to spread it far and wide: Lord knows I've played it "their way" countless times/publicly etc - time for a "fresh coat of paint" I say 🥃

If you search for "key/bpm" (in SOME instances), aren't you missing out on the "music/creating"? Like... "transpose" is still a thing.. right? Eg I want something for a song in "D", they have something "F#" that fits perfectly but I'd never find it cos "searching D, not F#"' Making a song... transposed it to match another sample (also pitch changed)... then had to transpose individual notes of melody (cos Bmin and I wanted Bmaj) Not tryna brag (just confident in my skills), just raising the questions I have about such sites/apps for creators like myself not "looking for a D" (pun intended)

@@Verysickbeats Skills/equipment knowledge is what I'm here for - my music library is way more than I need sound wise (albums, original sample compilations, TV/movie themes/soundtracks, commercials/skits) So yeah, been "crate digging" for decades and "chopping samples in my head" (sings that sound alike, lyrics in verses that would make great hooks/adlibs (eg Busta said "So hardcore..." on "Everything Remains Raw" - next album, "So Hardcore" was it's own song) etc so now songs are falling out, the better I get at the tech Now - thanks to channels like yours - my knowledge has an end product, as opposed to "I know where that sample is from" 🥃
