Nice review. I have this model. It's built sturdy and I love the magnetic bottom. It works great when it's not randomly disconnecting. I have a tp-link ax1300 that stays connected no matter what. my router is a wifi 6 router as well. I'm going to try the Tplink ax1800 Archer tx21UH which is also wifi 6 to determine the speed differences between both and to see if I get disconnects. (it (wavlink) just disconnected as I wrote this.) Usually it reconnects a few seconds later but still..it might happen 4 times in a row in a span of a few minutes and then it might stay connected for 30 min. We will see.

I had just bought a WavLink WL-WN693X1F AX1800 for 29.99. It seemed like it was made well, robust, bottom was magnetized and it has a nice heavy duty cord. It was pretty decent after I finally got it to connect (randomly after toggling some network adapter settings on and off) and then it would just disconnect out of the blue here and there. Sometimes it would stay connected for a while and you think the issue went away and then it would disconnect / reconnect 3 times or so in a row. off and on. I had a small tplink ax1300 that was pretty good speed and never ever disconnected soo I decided to try another Tp-Link product. Initially I was going to go for the 29.99 model that has two antennas TX20U Plus AX1800 because it was 29.99 and I could not find any different specs from the TX21UH int he video. I decided to go with that one even though it was $10 more at 39.99 because I could also use it in its mount or plug it directly into a PC or laptop and it being smaller easier to travel with. It was a good choice. Its fast probably double a ax1300 and probably a little faster than the wavlink ax1800. On top of that the most important thing IT HAS NOT DISCONNECTED ONCE ON ITS OWN! Thats what I was looking for. Speed and stability!. Also the cord it came with was much longer than the WavLinks cord. The only negative was that the driver instructions said when you plug it in the driver install disk would show up when you went to my computer. it never showed for me so I had to go to their site and navigate to the support section find my model and download. That would suck if someone didnt have internet already. Some people nned a better wifi adapter than they are using and some have none at all to begin with. If the disc doesnt show they might have an issue. Who knows...maybe it would if you keep trying a bunch of times. Besides that this device it good. it looks good with its lil blue light and you can move the antenna in 5 positions 1 of them being flush so you can just stick it in your pocket. When open it has vents cause you know this lil device it workin it. I would not go for the model in this video because a lot of the reviews are also about disconnects and just not connecting at all (which happened to me at first) Also there is also a wavlink ac1900 which looks just like the 1800 except it has much better reviews. Even so knowing what I know now I think I would still go for the TP-Link instead hands down even if the wavlink actually stayed connected. Hope this helps someone

Nice! I can say, My daughters gaming PC has been using this since I made this video. She has not had a single issue with her WiFi.

got exactly the same device, tried to get it working on two laptops - both failed.. will connect to router via password but then immediately disconnects and the device driver is disabled.

Hi, i have seen some issues about this product on amazon ?? Some people say that it automatically disconnects after 5-20 min , i just wondered if its true?

I know my daughter has used it for hours straight and haven't had an issue. I even used it a few times playing csgo for over an hour with no issues.

I got this product. Worked great for about a month. Now it tends to drop the connection every 20 to 40 minutes. Going to test another usb wifi adapter to see if it's my wifi or this adapter. Update. Ok so put another USB wifi adapter on the computer. Worked fine. Next test I used a Cat6 cable from router to computer. Worked fine. Hooked up the USB wifi adapter again and it would drop randomly. So like others said the unit has problems..

lucky to get that long on it.. mine on two different lenovo laptops immediately discconects in seconds. Zero help from the maker.

I can't get this to install. Windows 11 keeps insisting their driver is best.

You gotta go on the website and with your box you will have a website you wanna type it in to your computer then install the drivers for windows

Mines not working properly when i plug it in, when i click on the wifi icon where you choose your wifi there’s a drop down menu at the top with 2 different wifi sections “wifi” and “wifi 2” and i don’t know why but the adapter won’t automatically work for some reason. Any answers ?

It need to click the "CD Driver" and install the driver.

similar issue, i can connect - briefly with the 'cd driver' installed from the website, but then immediately stops and adapter driver is disabled.. also messed up rebooting.
