Dude, they have been one of my favorite bands for more than 10 years, I knew that already, but this year I feel like I love them even more. All of my favorite bands feel closer and more special this years, but specially Wavves. The other day I was curious about what were the songs I listened to the most that week and not only it was mostly Wavves, from their self-titled to their last releases, but I literally listened to Animal 167 times in ONE week alone. Damn it, they just have the right mix of suicidal ideation and childish escapism, self loathim and victimism, Defeatism and hope that few bands can match.
