I agree that it was good form to leave the mistake in the final cut, but I wasn't bothered by it myself. A crab that size flailing about is bound to cause the water to become turbulent.

While watching the construction of the crab, I kept thinking what a shame it was to fully sculpt all the legs, only to tuck them under the crab in such an impotent pose. I figured it was done to save on resin/weight without "cheating" by leaving the bottom half of the legs off. As such, I really appreciate the addition of the chain, which does a wonderful bit of storytelling and neatly explains the whole situation. Chef's kiss. Other than that, I can only applaud the dedication and effort that went into the build. It looks fantastic.
