Been here since Wax hit up the Vibe Contest nearly 15 years ago. His music had an enormous influence on me growing up, and Music & Liquor still goes down as one of my favourite records of all time. I’m now 30. Wax was also the reason I discovered the likes of EOM (RIP), Dumbfoundead, Prince EA and Breezy Lovejoy (now Anderson Paak). All amazing talents in their own right. Heck, Wax even encouraged me to pick up a mic myself when I entered the “You Ain’t Sh*t Man” competition! Listening to this track was humbling. An incredible talent and I really just wanted to pay homage and say, thank you.

Just one life given to us. But through it all we want to do is rush.” No ones talking about this line.. So here it is cause it’s beautifully written.
