Wax Vendor Issues....Ya I'm PISSED!

So I had to make some claims this week, but what is a customer to do?

As much as I enjoy me some wax tarts, I cannot hang with the craziness of wax vendors. Waiting months for a product is unacceptable. I get mine from swaps because Who the he'll thinks this is OK? !

Did anyone else come here thinking she was gonna be talking about body waxing? (Legs, bikini, etc.). While I'm not disappointed because I find these rants fantastic, I have no idea what she is on about O.o But it all sounds so intriguing!

Ahh they tried to screw you out of money! I owned a business it takes 2 seconds to refund the money! No different than if you accepted payment and someone wanted a refund....Thanks for this vendor I will not order From I heart Wax!!!

I'm a "new" vendor in that I've restarted my business with a new name...blah blah blah.. anyway.. I have been watching some videos similar to yours to learn and avoid some mistakes but SHEESH 45 days? When I get orders I go into panic mode to get them out. I don't understand this slacking off when it comes to customers. I'm also a writer and my readers are all golden! I am just shaking my head...I love my customers and my readers and I cannot understand this behavior. I'm sorry this happened to you but I loved your video and the ending. God bless. ;-)

She seems to be MIA. I ended up getting a refund and never received the prizes I won from her flash sale/contest day back in May. If you haven't already recieved a refund, I sure hope you get one.

I'm sorry to hear you had more trouble with another vendor, yet again. When I first heard about long TATs from some vendors, I was shocked. It's impossible to please everyone all the time, and for companies who are running all on custom or who don't have stock of the things they say they do, all I can say is WOW. It kind of blows my mind. Making a hobby a business is more work. I hope your future orders from vendors you love meet all your expectations!

I just discovered your channel... I would highly recommend Candles by Victoria. They have been in business for 15 years, great customer service and TAT's! Over 900 scents, and everything that I've ever ordered from them has been amazing!

And both of her orders have shipped to me in a week, from Texas to Maryland. Also I got exactly 7 days from Starlit candles. I just did two haul/reviews! Both amazing! :-)

Wow that's insane over a month! I ship out in two business days and still try to cut the time to one, I have to add wax melts to my store because these vendors are amateurs and dont know what customer service is.

Thanks so much for the heads up! I haven't ordered wax in awhile (trying to use up what I have before we move next year) and I haven't been in the mood to make youtube videos, but, I've still been lurking a little ;) I totally agree with everything you said!! I have my short list of favorite vendors and I haven't messed with any of these new vendors at all. This shit is ridiculous!

Was very interesting to read watch your video. It makes it so bad on other vendors, when people run into one as you did. I can promise you this would never and has never happened with me. Normally my orders are out sooner. I always go by first come, first serve. I always ask everyone to notify me with any questions or concerns, as it's what I would like. My products are highly scented, more so than most as I now have over 1,900 scents on site. Not sure if I should give name, as don't want to do something that is not allowed. Another thing, I will always notify you when order is ready to ship. If I'm out of a scent, I will notify you as it does happen at times, but rarely. Orders are normally sent with in a week or two depending on size of orders which come in. I will always notify you if it is taking a bit longer. Don't think over all these years any of my orders took a month or more. Just thought I'd write this so it's known there are some good vendors out there which have candles/melts/sachets and more. If you'd like to know my website I'd be more than happy to share with you.

i took a chance with happy hippy scents because i wanted new vendors and i ordered then 3 days later they shipped them and im in the UK so and then in 10 days I recieved them and they are great. id choose them :)

Candles by victoria , ten digit creations and scensei are the only 3 i get my wax from. The customer service is outstanding. And talk about communication. They answer questions all day long .

This is why new vendors make me nervous. I did see the post where you asked about your order and you almost got cyber jumped. For asking a question. I have noticed opinions are not aloud nor are questions..so sorry you had to deal with that. I'm almost at the point where I'm just gonna stick with RG. I've never had an issue, the wait is worth it and most importantly, I've always gotten my order! xo!

Phew thanks for the heads up, I was going to order from them, thank goodness that I didn't because as you know I am in the UK and lord knows how long that would have taken! I go by recommendations & reviews when I am looking at a vendor (I love GKC, RG, FP to name a few) so when I see issues, I stay away!!!!!

Just a heads up: If you pay with a credit card through PayPal and it's past the 45 days, you can make a claim with your credit card company. This happened with me and I was freaking out because I was way beyond the 45 days. I contacted Chase and disputed the charge and they got me my money back. So all is not lost if you're past the PayPal time. I believe that if you pay with a bank account through PayPal, you can make a claim through your bank too.

I am sorry to hear that you have had so many issues with wax and candle vendors. I don't understand why they were not keeping in contact with you, and at least let you know if they were having an issue or getting behind i their orders. I know that I have gotten behind before but as long as you keep in touch with the customer more times then not they will understand. I am sorry to hear that your experiences have scared you away from trying new companies. There are a lot of us out there that do a great job. I am the owner of KSS Candles and Gifts. I make all of our candles and wax melts by hand. Our other items are made by my wife, youngest daughter, and grandma. Making everything we offer 100% hand made. If you ever get to the point to where you are open to try out a new place again please look us up. And like I tell all my customers If you don't see what your looking for let me know and I will do my best to find it for you. That is how mom and pop shops were back in the day and that is what we at KSS strive for. That down to earth back home feel for every one every time.

I had the same problem with heavenleigh apothocary and I know there's a few people still waiting on their orders from may and some have gotten their orders with items missing and she is not responding to anyone :-( Hey do you have a link to the no drama wax page you're talking about, I can't find it and I would like to join so I know who to stay away from? Like I said in my comment above...try disputing the charge with the institution that you used to make your payment through PayPal (credit card company, bank). I had to do this because I was past the 45 days and I got my money back.
