This was my best friend Raul’s favorite song, we used to cruise drunk to this around 2011, both finding our young selves. Fighting young addiction to escape our troubled households. Sadly on the 4th July 2 days ago his mom found him over dosed from heroine in his room. Dam I will miss him so dam much it makes no sense but so much sense, some of us can’t let go of getting faded, our demons conquer us. I love you Raul, fuck man we had so much life ahead of us. He passed at 28 years old. Rip brother

I'm 24 now and I rarely drink. I have had my problems with weed, but I owe it to wax that I've been able to recognise the cycle of addiction and work towards breaking these habits. This is a prime example of lyricism. I dont drink as I used to, but you can feel the struggle and raw emotion of the moment when he wrote this. that what these chessy rappers dont get about tryna droppin tracks. what makes the difference, not how long you've had money for. Hip Hop is what you put in perspective in those few minutes. Take people on a ride with you while you have their attention. Music is ART. It makes beautiful people, humble as you and me leaving behind the timeless stories.

Exactly. If you've ever been addicted to something, you would understand that giving it up is very much like giving up a long time lover that never judged you and was always there to comfort you, but you know deep inside that it's a bad relationship. You can't let it go, cause you have too much of your life dedicated to it, and you forgot how to live without it in your life. It's one of the hardest things to do.
