BEATS FIT PRO 👉 mikeobrienmedia.com/beats-fit-pro *SMALL CORRECTION * these DO have volume controls but you need to switch the long press feature from the default (anc control) to volume control. Therefore these are technically customizable too, but barely. I’m still holding it as a drawback. Many earbuds let you choose the exact feature of the single, double, triple press, and press & hold on each earbuds independently (8 options vs 1 here). I really do like these earbuds overall though!!

I own the Beats Fit Pro and the AirPods Pro and I agree with your review…the Beats are better overall. One thing you didn’t mention was that thanks to USB-C…they charge up faster than AirPods. Wireless charging was cool 2 years ago but it’s the slowest way to charge anything and takes twice as long in most cases especially compared to USB-C charging with a fast charging brick.

When people complain about its absence, I don't get exactly why. Charging the case via the port charges the case much faster so I don't see why anyone would want to charge the case wirelessly over wired.

I have been waiting for SOMEONE to acknowledge the crackling sound you describe at 9:02. I noticed it within two seconds of putting these in my ears, and haven’t stopped hearing it since. I really, really don’t like it, despite how subtle it is. It’s tough because these fit extremely securely and I want to love them! I mean, I served tennis balls with full motion for 20 minutes, and the earbuds didn’t budge for a second! But I can’t get over the crackling. I’m returning these, regrettably.

I had the Air Pod Pro’s, just got the Beats Fit Pro’s. - I can confirm, they are better. They fit better, sound better, and seem to work better switching between my Apple devices. That last one doesn’t make sense, but I stand by it. I had many, many times when I would have to force my iPhone or iPad to connect to my Air Pod Pro’s. It was basically a regular occurrence. I haven’t had that happen once. I also love the physical button. It works better than the force touch stem. Lastly, they just sound better. The Air Pod Pro’s always left me wanting a bit more power. I highly recommend these, they really are that good.

I’ve owned these for about a week already and I gotta say they are starting to really grow on me. Although I still think the sound quality on the Airpods Pro is way better I can’t really deal with the fear of the Airpods Pro falling of my ear after a few minutes. I use a third party silicone wingtip that is finicky to put on the Airpods Pro but provides the security I need. These however are good to go right out of the case and I don’t have to finagle with another product to keep them in my ear.

At this point USB-C is the Apple ecosystem. Lightning is the annoying outlyer that they can't seem to quit on the iPhone. I waited a couple years for these to come out and they do not disappoint. They are all of the AirPods tech mixed with traditional sensibility.

As someone who listened to $kilo buck headphones everyday I am very happy with the Beats. The excellent quality of the imaging and instrument separation was a pleasant surprise. Drums clearly lower left. Piano clearly top left. Really fun listen. Depending on the recording of course.

I recently got these last week and when I paired them there was an update right away. I'm assuming the update fixed the crackling sound because I have not heard any crackling sound when I have mine on no matter the volume or music. I am connected to a Galaxy S21 Ultra so I'm assuming they fixed the issue with the software update. Great review!

I hear the crackling sound too! I usually watch KZbin videos at night to fall asleep, and I wear these so I don't disturb my wife. I hear the crackling sound. I returned my first one and got a replacement and it still has that crackling sound. On top of that I tried it side by side with my wife's AirPods Pro, the AirPods Pro unexpectedly just sounds louder and clearer, opposite of all the reviews out there. I really want to like these as these fit way better than the AirPods Pro and looks nicer imo. I'm so torn I don't know which one I should get/keep lol. I'm going to try and get replacement one more time to see if the crackling continues.

Great review! I am a long time airpods pro user user and I switched to android about a year ago. I love my airpods pro. I love the silicone tip and I don't mind the stem. The sound quality is way better than any Galaxy buds I've tried. I used to have beats that would hang around my neck. I can't remember what they were called. For spatial audio, you realize it isn’t just head tracking right? it can also be set to “fixed” which means you can have it surround you whether you turn your head or not. to access it, go to control center, press and hold volume slider and then where it says spatial audio tap it and then tap “fixed”. it will switch to fixed from head tracking and it’s so much better

A few problems with the 2 downsides you mentioned: 1. The Fit Pro’s case is still quite portable, and it’s much smaller than that of the PowerBeats Pro. 2. USB-C fast charging is the better option anyway so doesn’t matter, plus you can use your case as a dock. Other than that, excellent review.

Great video. Thanks for the info. Question 4 U. I owned a pair of Power Beats 3 and experienced the faulty issue of disconnecting. It was a know issue and Apple never did anything about them. I am on the fence about buying these NEW fit pro’s for fear of the same issue. Being that both are Beat products. Update they came back after i set them up with my iPad. One of my friends said it has to do with the active noise cancellation. I believe they just need an update on the firmware or something so they don’t constantly make the buzzing noise.

I’ve owned the Jabra Elite 7 Pro, Jabra 65t, AirPod Pros, and a bunch of other earbuds over the years. The Jabra Elite 7 Pro do not have working ANC, and sound less dynamic and have less bass than the 65ts. So I imagine these are better earbuds. The Jabras do have a really small case though if that matters. I think the AirPods Pro sound better than the Jabras. But the Jabras have a better form. I’m going to pick these up, because they seem to be the best of both.

I like the aesthetics and better comfort of the fits pro a lot more then the studio buds. call me weird but I like my earbuds looking like actual earphones, the look of the studio buds along with other buds like galaxy buds and echo buds and pixel buds look like hearing aids and beads stuck in my earhole. I am not sure about the sound quality over the studio buds as I only have the fits pro but lets be honest if I nitpicked about sound quality I would get it from a real reputable audio company like Sennheiser or sony or Jabra or or Klipsch or LG Meridian not beats lmao

The LG buds are not worth their msrp but I bought some $199 LG FP9 for $55 on eBay and for that price it’s way better then anything else for that money and really good value and it has this cool feature to plug into airplanes so I no longer have to download movies on my phone before plane rides

Why does the top of the case feel finicky like it wants to break

There's literally nothing on the market that beats the wf4 right now, even the air pods pro are like cheap earbuds compared to them

Hi Mike a question for you what earbuds do you like most for passive noise cancellation? I know this has a lot for do with fit. I am a pastor and I need to be in church with reasonably noise levels of music. I was wondering if your have use Bose 2 or Airpod pro 2 or the beats fit pros in a loud music environment? Or would ANC help in this environment? Thank you for your time. You do and great job with your reviews.

i lowkey feel like wanting to switch to this but also, feels like doesn't seem value for price enough as I'm using galaxy buds pro currently, which is decent for running and not perfect, but if I switch to this, I may need to sacrifice few things such as, 1. IPX4 rating only (Powerbeats pro I used previously wasn't good enough for me as I sweat lot) 2. Big case 3. No wireless charging. Even 2 and 3 I can manage to adapt and use it, but IP rating is something I value higher since that one cant compromise as I already faced difficulties during powerbeats pro and galaxy buds plus, where IP with all rated less than x4

The cracking. Is cause the proximity of wi fi device. Happened to me with my beats studio and my new wifi device from t mobile.

Wondering if anyone else has had my experience. I do a great deal of work online and clients are complaining about the sound breaking up when I use the Beats Fit Pro, but no one complained about that with my Air Pods Pro (before I lost them).

I love these. I have both AirPods Pro and these. And yes no stem. And the case is tiny compared to Powerbeats pro

Anybody else getting slight discomfort on the ridge of your ear that the hook rests against? That is my only gripe so far is that after 2 hours or so, it starts to hurt. Other than that, they have been pretty good.

If you’re down to save cash, the original 75ts (with anc close to beats fit/AirPods pro) are only $100 right now. If you have an Apple device and are set on not buying AirPods Pro, then the Beats Fit Pro are the no-brainer recommendation from me, if they have the same ANC as the AirPods Pro I’m wearing right now.

How strange ... I could not tell the difference with ANC turned on or turned off. Sounded identical to me, so I just assumed it basically didn't work and was just a feature that was there so that maybe a software update could bring it.
