Way High Jean | Everlane Jeans
Hey there! Today we're doing a review of the Everlane Way High jean and the Everlane Way High Baggy Jeans. Both styles of the Everlane way high jeans have been on my list to try for a while and I've been curious about the fit. Normally, I don't like stretch in my jeans and Everlane bottoms run large anyways. So I sized down from a 27 to a 26 and we'll see how they fit and how they look in person.
I ordered the Way High jeans in coal and vintage indigo and the Way High baggy jeans in stone wash for a few different looks.
Hopefully, this will be an Everlane denim review that you can use to determine the fit and sizing. I believe that all of our clothes should make us look and feel our best and since denim is the one article of clothing that most people wear, even on days when you're feeling "blah" your jeans should make you feel good.

@@BriLamberson they Are really great - they were much cheaper than retail and both pairs were only worn once since the people unfortunately bought the wrong size. I would recommend the reknit for starters as they are comfortable from the get go. But they currently are out of stock and I don’t know if they will have them again. Certainly good to look out for second hand. Would go for a smaller size in the reknit than the leather - they stretch.

Totally agree about the linen top…looks cooler and more luxurious in a size up and I’m not sure about the shade of blue either. Regarding the way high jeans, are they maybe a little snug in the hips while having baggy spots in the legs, inner thigh and knees…I say, trust your first instinct. If you don’t feel fabulous in the clothes, return them. Thanks for the review bc many of us are/were interested in Everlane jeans!

I don't know about the jeans Bri... 🙁 I think the thing is the way they're cut on the inner leg part. They almost look like they've left too much fabric there and it makes your inner legs look thicker although they're not at all and distorts the overall shape of your legs too! Not flattering. The first pair you put on for comparison was just the right cut for you, fell in love!

I totally agree! I think they make me look dowdy. As I said, I'm not feeling my best at the moment. However, the &OtherStories jeans are my favorite!

I have to agree with your review of the Everlane jeans. I liked the first pair that you tried on for comparison and found the Everlane jeans to be too similiar but not as flattering. And yes, I like the linen shirt best in the medium size. You may be feeling a little off today but your critique was spot on! Good video!

I just don’t understand how Everlane fits. I’m so glad I watched both of your try on videos before ordering for them. You have such an enviable figure and somehow almost everything fits a bit awkwardly on you in my opinion.

Truthfully Brianna. The black EL jean's are good on you but if you aren't feeling them...return. The 2 blue pairs of Jean's,are not flattering. Both shirts,are lovely and I really like the blue on you However again if you arent sure, dont keep it. Your clothes need to make you feel special I am fussy about my Jean's and usually buy 2 if same make when I find jean's I love. Great review...Thank you Brianna.

I feel the same about their denim. I have the black Way High and love them but the blue denim is not flattering on me. I think the cut and blue color just really accentuates the belly and crotch area in an unflattering way. I don’t think your being picky. Clothes aren’t cheap and we just want them to fit right so we feel confident and good wearing them.

I adore the first two pairs on you especially the black! I feel like sometimes I have that issue with the fabric folds in jeans the don’t fit me super well. Agolde is also a great brand for jeans. Not size inclusive at all but the pair I got from poshmark (the Riley) are nice

I've had to break up with Everlane in recent years. I have decluttered almost every piece I've ever bought from them aside from the original Petra handbags, which are gorgeous! Even back when they first appeared on the scene the clothing is just not very flattering on curvy bodies, but now their current style is just too minimal/casual for me. I noticed the And Other Stories jeans hug your waist in a much more flattering way. Trust your instincts, always return something you don't absolutely love!

@@BriLamberson I'm addicted to heavy weight 100% cotton levi's 501 jeans. They are a cult classic and I can be a purist when it comes to the OG of a particular category. I'm going to look into the and other stories brand too!

@@BriLamberson I used to love and only wear Paige jeans but after my 2nd pregnancy my hips stayed a little wider (sigh) so now I’ve been really liking Levi’s for the first time in my life. Specifically the mid rise classic skinny. There’s a straight leg too. And I also lived in a pair of Lucky jeans until they recently wore out.
