Okay, the singing is impressive and all, but would it kill him to stick to the way he sings it on the album for once? Part of the reason why way it goes works so well as a song is because of how bouncy and in sync everything is. That feel is sort of lost if you improvise that much.

Yeah, I agree. With way it goes in particular changing up the rhythm doesn't sound good.

I feel like they're getting more out there with their rhythms as time progresses. A prime example would be south. The original version on the Tarzan rejects ep had a slightly more straight rhythm than the remake, and the live stuff experiments even more. Hopefully the rest of the new album will be normal like passenger.
