I've always wondered if he (the character Tang Lung, played by Bruce Lee) was deliberately scaring the kid out of boredom and frustration, or if he was trying to communicate with the kid to ask where to get food (as Tang Lung didn't know any Italian or English) The English dub added a belch sound as he pointed at his mouth, but in the original Hong Kong version it was silent.

​@@anthonybeavan5648 ya he was trying to mime to the kid "Where could I get something to eat?" But the gesture scared the kid. He ran because he realized he scared the poor little one.
