My thoughts on the carbon core system that Li Ning is currently rolling out - I believe they've used a thinner carbon plate in order to sandwich it properly and still get good comfort and court feel. That's why all these new shoes (Y18 Ultra, JB2, Gamma, WOW11) don't have quite the snapback that the 10's have. Plus there were more than a few shanks that broke on the 10's. Using a thinner shank would mitigate that as well. Just my theory.

You hit the nail on the head. First couple games playing in this shoe, I didn't like it at much as WOW 10. Granted, that's my top performer and a high bar to get over. WOW 11 is way more comfortable, and I think if I'd taken the time to break it in, I'd like it more than I did. There's less court feel, and just less bounce and explosiveness.

I got these truet to size and im a 4e. I cannot wear this shoe ever after extended break in because my foot start hurting and going numb at my pinky and the traction on dust is super poor Worst ive had. The only thing is that you can run in them for hours and not feel tired and jumping feels like levitating

I feel you! Also have extremely wide feet and they hurt in the mid foot area. I can play in them and I’m hoping it’ll still get better. Comfort is off the charts and traction is amazing on clean courts. Dust pick up + durability have been an issue for me so far

I felt the same on my pinky toe pain same as my Wow 10s the first week. It probably needs broken in for a week or two to reach maximize comfort and performance just like the Wow 10s without the crazy bounce. I’m only on my 2nd day with the 11s. We’ll see how it goes. 🙂

@@vincel25 Yeah with the wow 10 I didnt have too much pain more just discomfort. But with the wade 11 its really bad to the point I just dont use them anymore

Wow. I guess this wow11 really has this issue. I also experience this mid foot / upper area of pinky toe pain when playing with this shoe after certain amount of time. I think the problem is when you bend your feet the part of the shoe (upper part of little toe area) is kinda hard and causes the pain over time. Tried to played it a couple of times but for now i stop playing with it. Will try to break in it more since this shoe is expensive and i dont want to waste my money. Hoping that part of the shoe where you bend your foot become softer. I also exp little toe area pain / blisters on wow10 on its break in period but after few games it became comfortable. But with these wow11 im having a hard time breaking it in.

To be honest, i didnt like the wow 10 since the heal to toe transition was clunky.

Thanks for the curry comparison… I guess I’ll stick to my Currys… I need the best stop possible … the Currys are less expensive with a more instant stop… if these were cheaper I’d give them a try but for $225 I’ll pass … they dope tho … I did want to try these though because I heard the grip is amazing like up there with the Currys but also with a squeak unlike the Currys so that peaked my interest… but $225 is step

Yeah the price is really damn high unfortunately. If you like a squeak these could be the better option, maybe wait until they are on sale to give them a go
