Honestly i watched the game as a ravens fan, i think y'all played well in the beginning (with a lot of help from the refs) and yea. You guys barely scraped by against the packers, got lucky their kicker missed 2 fgs, otherwise y'all would have lost. With that being said, your defense looks good. And it was a super fun game to watch lol, love the podcast btw. Y'all better be ready for round 2 against the pack! lol

😂 yall really think Minnesota would play this soft if they weren’t up big. Greenbay scored most of their points in garbage time. Maybe Minnesota should focus on just running up scores in the future instead of trying to play safe. For 3 qtrs Greenbay couldn’t do anything. You got 7 points on a muff punt. 🤦🏾 yall love talking ish all week leading up to the games and when you don’t win it’s a bunch of excuses every year. I don’t get it.

@@modlerjeancharles9637Wicks dropped 4 balls (2 of which would’ve been TDs). Mcduffie drops an easy INT on the opening drive and the refs couldn’t figure out what a catch was (Wicks were drops but Mckinney caught that INT?). Minny played great and can’t wait till their next meeting.

Packers fan, fair play to Minnesota. You guys steamrolled us in the 1st half. When you go down 28-0 by the end of 2nd quarter, you're not likely coming back. Defence by the Vikings always kept Green Bay firmly in place most of the game, and not until the 4th quarter did Love find a bit more consistency with the pass. Credit to Brian Flores and Sam Darnold for the way you've started the season. Looking forward to the return game in Minneapolis.

Really neither fan base should be happy with how their team played at certain points. Green Bay in the 1st half and Minnesota in the 4th. And honestly if I’m a Vikings fan I pray that that 4th quarter defense doesn’t show up ever again, cause from having experienced Joe Barry defensive performances similar to that, that’s the kind of late game defense that can and will end your season.

Takeaways Darnold has been getting lucky not getting picked off more, another INT dropped by a defense on the opening drive that could swung the game Refs suck at reviewing and calling plays… doubs caught it, wicks caught it, mckinney bobbled it, jefferson dropped it 🤷🏻‍♂️ refs were 0 for 4 This was basically week 1 for love and he looks healed. Vikings and packers usually split in a season i expect the same this season

Spot on commentary as usual guys. As a Packers fan, I really wasn't expecting them to turn it around so quickly. I knew there would be rust which would take game sequences to shake off. Mentally, I was kinda hoping some of these younger fans would knock off the Superbowl talk after getting spanked at home. They have no idea how difficult it is even when everything is going well. Anyway, my question for you concerning this game is did the Packers turn it on or did the Vikings relax and sit down? Not even the pros understand how important maintaining momentum is in closing out a game. Waiting patiently for game 2.

You know, as a Packers fan, the thing I hate the most about that game is it answer zero questions. - Packers defense looked terrible in the first half. - Packers are one of the most penalized teams in the league (bad coaching). - Love played Farveball. - Kicker is abysmal and needs to be fired. - WRs did Love no favors and made very few plays. And yet the Packers still only lost by 2. So are the Packers good? Are the Vikings frauds? Still leaning yes in both cases.

Packers 1st and arguably biggest mistake was deferring to second half. Instead of looking to start game by driving down to score and taking lead right away, they allow MN to do that. Then have the missed FG on their first drive (Love didn’t look Watsons way and missed him wide open down middle for TD). Then MN drives straight down to go up 14-0. Then that leads to only running the ball 20 times and throwing it 55.

Things all went wrong for gb early. Things just didnt go thrir way. Happens. Love was rusty but they clawed back. Good sign. They need to trade for a top kicker. Idc what you have to give up get it done.

Gosh Darnold! Vikings really are that good and their receivers have some HANDS. Packers... a lot in this game to build on. Hurry offense was moving. Need fewer penalties. Wicks won't be oblivious to a jump ball pass again, all season. (Think it was Wicks?) Xavier McKinney is a beast.

B Flo took his foot off the gas GB fans. Went into garbage time coverage. Refs had to give you the ball twice. We could have kicked 2 more field goals with big leg will if they needed it.

I think its insane that it was only a 2 point game when the packers turned over the ball a total of 8 times (including missed fgs and on downs) to the Vikings 4. I mean only a 2 point difference when the turnover differential is 4 is insane. Also a total of 12 turnovers in a game is insane.

Vikings deserve credit and look good. But the Packers were terrible first half. It's no good blaming the kicker or a few tight calls, when you give the opposition a 28-0 head start. The entire offence and defence needs to take a long look at themselves, including Love who is a worse player since signing that $220m deal.

Packer fan here. Gg Vikings. I was never sold on Love being worth the contact he got. Sure he was hurt, blah blah excuses. He threw the game away when he hung watson out to dry on that terrible interception. And had another shot with plenty of tim left he threw a ball to nobody and ended with another pick... With Malik the gamelpan actually made sense and worked, now it just looks like they expect Love to Aaron Rodgers the team to victory. I dont care about the missed field goals or refs making questionable calls. This game and Watsons injury is on Jordan Love. The vikings look like they are legitimately solid. Possibly great. Yall took the foot off the gas at halftime and almost let the pack make the comeback of the year though.

I see what you are saying. Love looked rusty as you would expect after missing two weeks. The first interception was bad but I also blame this on just receivers dropping balls. Wicks dropped two many balls to count. Our defense was not good either until the second half. Love picked it up at the end and looked good. I’m not worried about the way Love played today. He should look good next week against the Rams

He had 1 half of a season where he was good but the first half of that season he was pretty bad. That's not the player you make the highest paid. Especially after a single year. Vikings won this game because they were prepared. Love was not.
