Only the Stab. Everything else is different. Front wing has 3 bolts now for example

wonder why waydoo taken apart the propulsion and the mast and let it assemble by the user: pro: - more transportable (waydoo says it), questionable - maybe, but this is only a maybe from me, later you can exchange the propulsion with more advanced ones cons: - users will make mistakes so there will be a bending "gate" - another connection added which can be touched by water, not to mention another point where oxidization can happen or corrosion - old system used many screws, now for this only 2 which holds the complete trust/power of the propulsion with the rest of the system (mast board etc.), wonder how stable it will be over time when this is assembled multiple times because of the "transportability" those are big cons compared to the only one official plus side against it, i think this is or will be a big mistake on issue counts in the future

These are good thoughts and questions. I had similar thoughts. Overall I see lots of improvements and evidence that Waydoo listened to user feedback. With so many new things there could be new problems too... Or none at all. The removable motor makes it easier and more economical to fix, replace, or upgrade. I believe the vast majority of people will not be removing the motor after they initially attach it. The video mentioned adding grease when fitting them together. That should hopefully help with some of the concerns you mentioned. Hope the two bolts make for a reliable secure fit. Edit: actually, now that I think about it more... Some people may take advantage of the mast and motor modularity more than I initially thought. Some people may like the idea of swapping back and forth between mast sizes pending the day. It will be more affordable to have two masts and just one motor.

@@eFoilLakePowell i know you have more experience because I know you from waydoo facebook community :) but what you say in the edit part, that's what i said that problems will occur if users will replace mast etc frequently, it' physics. if you take apart things than over time those things wont fit together perfectly because of wear and tear :( and because people wont notice the 0.1 mm degradation at screw holes or other places, problems will pop up from nowhere and can cause serious damage to parts of the system. And i think these problems got noticed after the damage is already done. overall the idea is absolutely ok, replaceable parts and in most cases thats a plus, but when we talk about a sportgear which contacts water, where forces are strong because of the foil function, then these plus will become more like a negative thing.....at least for me
