I loved when he opened up with heartbreak hotel during the bad tour. I love after the 2nd verse at about 4:12 where he was saying "heartbreak hotel" with his mouth and was so into it he forgot to sing in the microphone and he's just yelling to the audience, I felt that!!💖💖

Fun fact: Michael used to loose between 5 and 10 pounds per show because of sweating 👀

The reason Michael wasn't afraid of someone else getting the spotlight was bc he was his own spotlight he didn't need to be like "Hey, look at me I'm talented too" bc we already was looking at him and I feel like he knew that to some extent but also he was humble as fuck like this man said exactly "I don't think I've been completely totally satisfied with ANY project I've ever worked on" meaning he wasn't satisfied with things like Bad or Thriller. When everyone else says those two albums are the best.

Why I believe that Mike was comfortable in sharing the light with others on stage was because he grew up 20 years prior in a group dynamic. While performing with the Jackson 5 and the Jacksons they interacted with each other and the band. He brought his group dynamics knowledge to his solo performing career.

Exactly. Not only that. He was very very all about love,sharing and caring. He felt like everyone deserves the best and opportunities to grow and become more. To get the attention everyone needs. Goddamn I love him so much

Michael was very humble. He never took Credit 4 his work. He wanted them on stage with him to shine in their moment. He never took credit for writing his songs. He gave god the " credit" when it came to his own talent. Well this is master at work ..at his best

Ahhh I just love this performance! I think one of the things that separates MJ from other great artists is that he truly gets lost in the music when he performs, he gives everything..you can see he totally feels it, he becomes the music and you believe every word and dance move he performs... you feel his energy even through the screen. Great reaction! Thank you!

Artists today are more about corporations. A true talented artist with today's environment of analog and digital equipment will only provide the truth not the lie that corporate untalented/unskilled artists project because of the profit nature of today's industry. Especially when art is all about doing it fast.

Like you pretty much said, back then you had to have true talent to make it big. Nowadays, anyone can just use autotune or pitch correction to sound good, and it’s accepted.

@@itsjustnaima you can't say that. Today's artists just take shortcuts, but if you put them back in the 80s then they'd show it

Your way of thinking is very good. So many of the MJ community are too quick to dismiss the current artists. Current artists do things differently
@itsjustnaima3 жыл бұрын
That's right but it's factual that no one will ever be this good as Michael was and michael made so much more than pop music. He made rnb,rock,soul some jazz stuff and hip-hop. There's no reason that people should listen to other artists when they're die hard fans of Michael and michael had the whole package. You'll never get boring of Michael and that's the magic

Music has become corrupted and it is not about artistry anymore.How many artists today will be listened in 30 ,40 years time.Many of the artists today have got their success from emulating those who have gone them.Here today gone tomorrow. Their is no longevity in today's music. I thank God that I got to experience the greatest era for music the 70s and 80s .the greats from this era their music will last the test of time.

I have never heard sing anything except in falsetto.He does not sing bass or baritone. Never heard him sing that way.My favorite MJ was when he was very young.
@kate_m_k883 жыл бұрын
There is plenty of songs that showcase Michael’s lower register; one just merely needs to dive deep into every album. The only portion of Heartbreak Hotel that is falsetto is the “hoo-hoo” portion towards the end with the background singers, and for lack of better words, “marco-polo-ing” those “hoo-hoo’s,” lol. It's relatively funny to try and describe the “hoo-hoo’s,” lol. Regardless, and as I mentioned, most of this song is not “falsetto.”. On the Invincible album, there is the song ‘2000 watts’, which is entirely Michael’s lower register, as well as, and if this the following is accurate information regarding how Michael sounded “naturally, ” so to speak, “behind closed doors,” showcases Michael’s “natural” tone of voice, which is said to be much deeper than one will see in most interviews and while Michael was in public.
@margarettaylor81073 жыл бұрын
@@kate_m_k88 Thanks but every song O have ever heard is in high tenor or falsetto.I wonder why he did not sing in his natural voice most of the time.Could you name one of those bass songs or one where he sings baritone and I will google it. Thanks.
