Sometimes i run down the road in old Peterbilt and I wish I could go back to this area in time. Hell I was not born until 1984. Sometimes I feel i was born in the wrong era! Where did the morals and strong men go from yesteryear and blue-collar work, was a great skill and work boots, and blue jeans, and a flannel shirt was the norm! I guess growing up farming, welding, and working on your own stuff, loving the Lord formed the man i am today ! Technology can not replace those things! Wake up world! The simple life is more rewarding than the illusion the tv and the internet portray!

How about Waylon’s Fender? Play’s the hell out of it. When you hear that guitar you know who’s playing it, he had a very unique sound and VOICE! Waylon had a one of a kind sound some of that sound was brought on by him filing the frets down on his guitar, without the frets being cut down it's impossible to get that sound unless one has the strongest fingers in the world, that's the reason no one could ever copy his sound, Waylon was really the best to ever stand on stage 🎸

Willie described Waylon in his autobiography as "A FIRE CRACKER" I had the pleasure of seeing him in person and also as part of the Highway Men tour of Australia. Waylon stopped his concert at one point and turned to his group and said "WE GONNA DO THIS RIGHT OR WHAT" (Sounded bloody excellent to me but not to the perfectionist) Broke my heart when you left Hoss

🌹I saw somewhere on one of Waylons concerts with his wife Jessi Colter & someone commented that they were the only 2 wedded couple that really showed their LOVE for each other.💙.But there is another wedded couple who really show how much they LOVE EACH OTHER.You may not have seen them but it is the great JOHNNY CASH & JUNE CARTER CASH. OH BUT YOU CAN REALLY SEE THE LOVE THEY HAD FOR EACH OTHER&right there in front for the whole world to see!😇♥️.They stayed in love till they left this earth for Heaven. So that's 2 couples who loved each other as much as you can love one another.I love watching them singing together and showing their love for each other. If u haven't watched them-please do.You will love it! ♥️💙🎶🥰💖⚘🎸🌹😇.Mary.

Being from Austin, Texas and growing up around the Hill Country, listening to the radio, or, if luck had it, Grandpa and a few of his ol' pardnas would break out a couple of their old guitars and would. play and sing every song they knew.Waylon and (his) Outlaw Music was the common staple for Country music listeners... Much love and respect to you, Waylon, and greatly missed.😞

I grew up listening to Waylon and Willie and hank Jr. Thanks to my ol buddy Butcho Magee from Tennessee. Butcho was from Warsaw Missouri. His dad used to call him that and he hated it. I always called him Danny be bop Bryson, that was his real name but thanks to his pa for turning us on to Waylon Jennings, we raised a lot of hell listening to Waylon in a 53 Ford pick up going 90 to nothing, cant thank ol Danny enough for this reality check and the fun we had . RIP ol Butcho.

This is when Country music was REAL Music. Unlike Most of this Crap that they Try to call music today that is not fit to even be called music of any sort? We Need & Better get Back to the Basics of Life while we may still have a little bit of a chance to. IF, we don't at least Try to set our kids & Grandkids Back on the Right path Now? This is the best filmed Waylon concert left on KZbin since they took down the Lost Outlaw concert.☹ His voice is Still pretty good even though he was still on cocaine here and also had laryngitis in the early 80s ( He cleaned up shortly after this) Someone asked for the song list so here it is: Outlaw Bit Clyde Amanda I Can Get off on You Lucille, You Won't do Your Daddy's Will Only Daddy that'll walk the line Just A Good Ole Boy ( The Dukes of Hazzard Theme) Storms Never Last, with Jessi Colter I've Always Been Crazy Dreaming My Dreams Luckenback, Texas Breakin Down Mammas Don't let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way Good Hearted Woman This Time Ain't Living Long Like This Honky Tonk Heroes

One last note about Waylon Jennings studying him of coarse his style blues tad bit jazz and country symbolizes a man coming from hardships in life not letting sickness and oppression getem down over coming the hard life a sad life but a good life . Gotta respect Waylon like that guitar at least it symbolizes something that is his very genuine he owned representing hardships in life . Rest in peace Waylon .
