I stopped at that roadhouse in Gingers Creek on my way back to Vic from Mansfield - was in a really convenient location. Awesome to see theres some good dirt tracks nearby (was on my R3 so would've had a bit of a fun time with that)

Wayne you have bigger balls than me. I tried, I bought a 790 adv. and was spooked by the heft it has. Only a few off road adventures on it and I saw no future for it if I was going to have fun. Yeah if it is easy going sure but instead I bought a 2023 KTM 500exc-f. This has the seat concepts seat and will deal with the light bike issues. Mojave bags by Giant loop and a back pack will have to do.

Yes Erik I agree with you, these bikes are heavy!! I'm only getting used to mine now, wait till you see where the boys & I go in the next couple of vids!!😉We visit enduro country! 💪🤩👍 I ride with a fella who has a KTM500, I must say, he hates the long hauls we sometimes have to do!!

You guys don’t seem to give a damn about killing kangaroos, the amount of Oz videos I’ve watched where a kangaroo gets hit or killed is disappointing. Do you ever check to make sure they don’t have a Joey or that they aren't still alive and suffering?
@WayneDowsent Жыл бұрын
Yes we do, I also drag them off the road. Unfortunately there are so many about, the chances of hitting one are high. Sad but unfortunate...😪

There are definitely some aussies who don’t care about killing roos but most of us do and always check pouches and put them out of their misery. There’s lots of wildlife carers in aus that look after orphaned animals

@@WayneDowsent Thanks for your response and it’s good to know that that is what you do. Perhaps show an element of that in a future video or verbalise that you have done so, this just looked as though you’d struck a kangaroo and then done nothing other than continue. 👍

@@trevb2308 Thanks for the response. I saw an Aussie vid recently, a chap called Tom I believe on a WR 250 who ended up rescuing a Joey after a Kangaroo strike and travelled with it either in his rucksack or down the front of his jacket until he got to a nearby town where a lady rescued injured animals and he left it with her. 👍

@@701Adventures I'd need to just verbalize it, I did have my video on when I dragged it off the road, but I don't think that would be appropriate video to use, thats why I only showed the roo from a distance.
