Let me get this clear: This is important because the Koiguchi seals so closely around the base of the blade that it creates a near airtight seal, making the way you first open the blade a thing that you have to do with exact technique? (Obv you're also just drawing a sword, so you wanna be careful and precise about what you do regardless, don't wanna cut yourself before the fight even starts)
