I appreciate you using your Cotman paints and showing us how to work with paints that are not professional quality. This beginner needs that!

Thanks for these helpful insights! I'm a beginner. My 2024 goal was to try watercoloring birthday cards for my friends, trying different techniques. I need the practice in the journal for sure!!

Thank you, as a non artistic beginner (I'm a copier) I appreciate how you cover colours and mixing, composition, shading and all your "tricks" so I can try things on my own.

You are teaching wonderful ways with watercolor! This video so rolling hills was the best, learned so much by watching and listening! I’m going to do this several times with different colors, a real experience in color and feelings! Thank you always for teaching just what I needed to learn! Karen Dirmish, learner.

Nice! Yeah the cottman is less pigmented than the professional paints 🎨. Now you see the difference between the two. Thank you and have a great day! JK FLORIDA USA 🇺🇸.

This came out so beautifully 😻 I have a question regarding process of letting the left page dry before working on the page to the right. If I were to do a painting like this in a sketchbook, but wanted to make it all greens like on the left page, will it be easy to achieve the same colors when working on the right page? Guess I’m wondering if I attempt a painting like this will the two pages look uniform colorwise? Or maybe I’m overthinking this 🤣

Thank you so much for this lesson in blending. It is less intimidating than other landscapes. This may be obvious to some, but I‘ll ask anyway - is your binder clip a large or media size? It is difficult for me to judge and because I only need a couple of them, I want to get the best bang for my buck! 😊

BTW I got grief from another FB artist for uploading a painting of a Pinterest photo. They made me remove it. Claiming that I can't do that. Any thoughts, comments on this. I'm only saying this as you used a Pinterest in this video. Thanks for your amazing videos ❤

@@marypanich9880 you would think so but some are very unsecured. If that's the case don't put them out in public 🤷
