Whats the 1-1-1?( mile, sit ups, pushups) Is that the first pt test at basic? When/How do they determine what running class ur in? (a, b, c)
@MariahPerry5 жыл бұрын
The 111 is the diagnostic pt test... basically to see where you’re at. This determines which running group you’re in.

Christen Gardner look into reserves and national guard and see which one you like better if you only want to do military part time. I didn’t know national guard existed when I went reserves and I personally would’ve chosen National guard..

Christen Gardner I’m still in basic but yes you can switch, no you won’t be starting over. It’s a lot harder to switch from reserves to active vs active to reserves but it is something you can do.

My boyfried is currently at fort Sill and has failed his final Pt test (1 1/2 weeks before graduation). Do you know if he'll get another opportunity to retest, or will he get recycled or discharged☹?
@MariahPerry5 жыл бұрын
They typically do a retest right before graduation for those that fail the last PT test.
@mayh68235 жыл бұрын
@@MariahPerry okay that's so great to hear! He didn't have a chance to explain, and didn't sound to sure himself. He said they couldn't re-test because it was their final Pt test. But I was pretty sure that they said that ahead, because of course they want to instill that thought to push people not to fail. Thank you so much for the reply, you really put my mind at ease
@MariahPerry5 жыл бұрын
Of course. They wouldn’t (im 99.9% sure) restart someone if the failed the LAST PT test. They made it too far. Now if they fail the re-test, they dont get recycled but they go to this program on base that allows them to keep taking the PT test until they pass.

I just found out that she is actually going to be recycled into another battery because she didnt mest the ftu requirements. Does this mean she goes there once she passes the or test
