On the topic of taking breaks: I am a huge park fan, but I HATE spending an entire day in any park. My best strategy is to show up early for the first few hours, go back to the room for an afternoon nap, and come back around sunset. Peak afternoon is the worst time to be in the park. Its the hottest, most crowded time of the day.

@@ShaytotheNayHay Halloween party, my favorite thing ever. You almost don't need to do MK in the morning and early afternoon. Instead consider park-adjacent activities, such as the miniature golf or the pool, or riding the skyliner around, or a late morning character breakfast somewhere. For the halloween party, you will be getting dressed about 2pm, travelling there at 3pm, then entering 4pm.

Regarding Memory Maker - We purchased it for our large, multi-generational trip (11 of us, 4 generations) and found it to be 100% worth every penny. We waited in 2 lines for pics. Otherwise, we got tons of shots that we wouldn't have had gotten if we relied on interrupting other peoples' vacations to ask them to take our picture. I highly recommend it for larger groups who will most likely be splitting up into smaller groups at various times throughout the trip. There are so many place to get the pics done, not just in front of the park icons.

Always go when the dining plan is offered for free, huge savings and makes the trip nice and simple
@Matt_Hatt3r7 ай бұрын
I think that depends on when you go and where you stay, though. Usually when they're offering the free dining plan, you have to pay full price for the resort. Disney recently had that offer and I chose another disocunt over the free food because in the end, the other discount was better and cost me less out of pocket than free food.

Please do a video on proper & improper etiquette at Disney. Like how to handle a problem that may be major, even if a cast member is rude. That you should calmly ask to speak to a higher up & remember that it's not that persons fault what the previous person said or did. Or if possible not letting it ruin the moment & handle it at a later time. How about finding a spot out of the way to decide what to do next instead of stopping where everyone is trying to walk around you. What to do if you witness a violating being committed like stealing or line cutting & even how to find out about Disney policies to find out what qualifies as line cutting. Also how to treat a cast member & how to give proper praise & to who for a special cast member who deserves it!

I am someone who plans ahead, know what I am going to do for the day and all, so this is great to see so many types of people who go to amusement parks. I am so excited and going by myself too because I want to ride all the rides, I want to enjoy the park as much as I can by myself. You may want to double check your tip on buying in store versus buying in park; they are currently moving things through the parks and online at different rates (the sands of tatooine collection was off the website before it was gone from the stores) and shirts that I liked online I could not find in the parks or world of disney. Also, for their deluxe hotels, there are starting to be unique merch that is only at that hotel and not online.

I've been to the parks six times over my lifetime (one as a child and 5 as an adult 😂), but since I live in Brazil, the whole logistics is a bit different. Since the plane tickets are really expensive, the trip needs to be at least 10 days long, ideally 15 to 20. We never stay inside Disney because it would be too expensive considering how long the trip is. We also do Universal, sometimes Discovery Cove. Since we're from a different country, everyday American things and places are also an attraction to us, so we love going to the mall, the outlets, the supermarkets and even to the drugstores! Everything is so different, so I personally love exploring the whole city. For that reason, whenever I'm in Orlando I'm inside the "American bubble", so I don't feel like I have to be inside the "Disney bubble" all the time. I was supposed to go to Disney California for the first time next January, but unfortunately my family ended up changing plans and we'll go to Spain. I'm still trying to convince them to swing by Paris just to go to Disney there, hehe. I love your channel, AJ!

Going with the wrong people is such an important topic. I have gone with the wrong people (who insisted they wanted to go and expected me to plan everything) a few times and it will RUIN your trip. If you do go with people who may not love it the way you do, have them sit with you and sort of make their own plans, rather than planning to have them along with you at every point of the day. You can have a good time with people who aren’t huge Disney lovers, but make sure to account for that fact in your plans. Schedule in breaks for them and take some time to do your own thing with the other huge lovers along on the vaca. Trust me, nothing is worse than being in your favorite place with a bunch of miserable people and ungrateful people. You might as well throw your money into the wind! Preplan accordingly.

Cosmic Rewind gets long waits because the strobe lights during the teleportation segment frequently give guests with heart and neurological conditions trouble, and the paramedics need time to get in and out without you seeing. A couple of years ago my sister and I were stuck in the pre-announcement room and just happened to be next to a premium tour group being led by a cast member, who managed to get the answer out of the ride operators. No official announcement though, we were all just left to have it slowly dawn on us that we’ve been waiting for a really long time.

You must not have been taking advantage of all the places they have photographers to have just 10 pictures. We usually get 7-8 from every stop. It's worth it for me to have the whole family in so many pics instead of having the picture taker missing or relying on selfie shots to get everyone in.
@justinschrank48067 ай бұрын
@MrNBreezy215 We purposely avoid going to the photo stations because we don't like to spend our day doing that. Especially once you have a couple good pictures, what's the need for 50 more? I know someone who went recently who got literally hundreds of memory maker pics 6 days. They literally spent half their trip doing pictures. We sure as heck are never going to wait in photo lines when it's hot. Society has developed a mental condition where they feel they need photos for every second of every day of their life. We enjoy the moment and grab a few great pics.
