No, people who say that don't understand that from a creative perspective the title track has to capture the all encompassing theme of the album it is representing. Kick Back does that. Kick Back has the epic, cinematic, and regal vibes that lead way to the rest of the album. Action Figure is a great song, but it doesn't work as a title track. There's a reason why golden B-sides exist. Kick Back well deserves its role as a title track.

I agree... Kick Back should’ve been the follow up single and this should’ve been the title track. Even WayV said this is their favorite song on the album. But from what I heard Kick Back follows their story so that’s why it got title track. When you think about it... the best song on each album is never the title track but still gets a MV (Love Talk, Bad Alive, Action Figure)

After playing it on repeat, I literally can't fault this song at all. It has everything. It's like Nectar 2.0 for me, but more groovy and rnb, and a smooth choreography. Its definitely a better track than Kick Back but tbh the title track usually isn't the best track, especially from SM groups like WayV.

I love both tbh. However when first listening to kick back I wasn’t instantly a fan of it. But after listening to it over and over it grew on me and now whenever I hear the beginning instrumental I get HYPED. For action figure I was instantly in love with it. Even WayV love this song. Their eyes would glow up every time they talked about action figure 💀 but overall I love the songs

Jumping off stages...outrageous. Made me regret throwing away my he-man figures. Clean like dishwasher clean. And to top it all off... the thumb, a classic three direction dramatic stare with varying degrees of emotion (dd got there but was close to busting out a smile again). This was so good I saw it not once, not twice (2000 days shoutout)....but 4 times.👍👍👍

This is a very catchy sounding song. It could almost be a workout song. I agree, the video is very colorful, to have taken place inside a garage. These guys always look smooth and classy with the suits on. (I like the John Wick reference too, because you know John was always in "Didn't come to play"/ "I am going to do serious damage" mode, whenever he put his suit on. John's suit was like its own character, in my opinion. ) So, let's keep WayV and the rest of NCT all in suits, because it adds another fantastic layer to their visuals. The choreography is always top notch and another high quality performance. The song and vocals are strong and solid, as always. My most favorite was how Lucas really worked that ending part of the video. I thought the grown folks chorus line, "So Drippy, So Drippy" was very sexy and sizzling too. 😊 This is a nicely entertaining video. And, great reactions as always, guys. I love this song and video. I hear it a lot because my KZbin account thinks it needs to be played after every song I play and every subscription I watch. I like Kick Back but I agree on it needing to be the title track but sometimes the one they (entertainment companies) think will be the hit is not necessarily as successful as it's lesser promoted song. WayV is amazing. I want an American tour and see them.

I do like Action Figure better than Kick back but it's isn't really title track worthy though. The title track is supposed to be different and out of there and also pertaining to WayV's concept and that's what Kick Back is. Plus, I feel like Action Figure mv wouldn't have been as high budget or crazy looking as the Kick Back MV

This is definitely my favorite song. I adore WayV, and I like KickBack, but the hook is annoying... or lackluster? "Kick, kick, kick, kick, kick, kick back"... sounds like a high school cheerleader chant. The rest of the song is great. I love my boys. But also, the harmonies and vocals in Action Figure! I mean, they are perfect! Action Figure is definitely deserving of an official video.
