Xiaojun is a main vocalist, and you did listen to Xiaojun’s high notes before! The guy with the bright yellow hair in Make a Wish (NCT U) is Xiaojun. All WayV songs have a high note from him. And yes, Unbreakable Love with Renjun is a master piece. Renjun is Chinese also, but he’s a main vocal in NCT Dream.

glad NCT 2020 happened and that Xiaojun was the reason for its success. He collected so many fans and everyone collectively came to the conclusion that he was the reason why make a wish was so successful, his parts were iconic. I feel like the new cover with Renjun he didn’t go full on, he sang in his lower register to compliment Renjun, but Xiaojun is a vocalist who has the biggest range. Listen to more of his solo covers and WayV songs he stands out the most in basically everything.

I really love this song and this video. The choreography is great as always. Yangyang's rap and Xiaojun's high notes deserve special praise in this song. And Ten... I can't take my eyes off him every time, he's just incredible. If Ten is not everyone's bias, but he is still everyone's bias, fact. I'm really looking forward to his solo work coming out very soon. Check out Action Figure, Take Off and of course Regular ( the MV is all about aesthetics and video looks like the most expensive mv in all of Kpop 😅)

Fun factoid; this track sounds cinematic in scale because it was inspired by the composer John Williams.... who has composed movie scores such as Star Wars, ET, Indiana Jones series, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Schindler's List, some of the Harry Potter films etc... which, I dont know about you, that's basically the soundtrack of my entire childhood. 😄 So cool for the composers to go that direction in a WayV track. Also, please don't forget WayV's Let Me Love U... you will be attacked, but more with cuteness than overt sexiness. (I mean, there are a few moments ofc bc it IS WayV we're talking about... 😬)

how to pick a bias in NCT in a whole? depends on my mood on that day perhaps, there's no permanent bias. Every member in the group have a really strong personality... (and visual too) for me. If you realize by now, NCT127 and Dream is having a Dream (Inception) theme concept, while WayV concept is Time and Space travellers, so you can see all the team clashing with each other in all their songs and MVs, it's like they're all stuck in a limbo.

actually kun and xiaojun r the main vocals, and ten is the lead vocal (at least according to the profiles), but xiaojun is the one belting high notes in their songs and ten/kun once in a while

Awww, you and Ten matched shirts in this one. ;) Not every song is a hoe anthem, but they do have quite a few. They do slower and brighter songs as well, mostly in B-sides. Someone else brought this up already, but I wanted to second it: I think you might enjoy seeing a guide for WayV specifically one day. "(un)HELPFUL guide to wayv l 2021" by Lao Gan Ma. They already had the best guide imo, and then they uploaded an updated one for 2021. They don't have a ton of their songs in the guide, like 2-3 seconds at most of some B-sides, so it won't have a lot of spoilers. It's quite long, but I feel like it's worth it because it focuses on their personalities and how they are as a group. As always, thanks for sharing your journey!

they all have their roles that play really smoothly and interchangably at ease: Xiao Jun and Kun are the main vocalists, Lucas is the visual center, and Ten is the main dancer, Yang Yang is the main rapper, Hendery and Winwin are both part of rap, dance and visual lines - they all have their moments to be center or individual focus, but the assigned center is Lucas, and for dance break the center is the main dancer Ten

Honestly Xiaojun is my bias in NCT/WayV!! He's not known to many people but haahuh his voice is a problem!! "Moonwalk" is still my favorite WayV title track, it's so theatrical and listening and watching it feels like going on and adventure, I love it. Xiaojun (she-ow-ju-in) is most definitely a main vocal and you are going to be seeing and hearing him ALL over WayV's discography! His voice is INSANE and it is usually him and Ten who hit the big notes, but Kun of course as well. On the title tracks, Xiaojun is usually hitting a high note or belting, but he's especially notable on their b-sides as well. In the cover with Renjun (ruhn-ju-in), their voices blend together so beautifully. There's an NCT U song called "My Everything" that combines the main vocals of NCT with Taeil, Renjun and Xiaojun and it's so beautiful, they sound like literal angels! You can also see some more of NCT and WayV's storyline coming into play here and within the SMCU in the mv, pretty sure WayV is in Kwangya here. Also the choreo for "Moonwalk" is so good, its so cool and they make really interesting formations, plus Ten gets to shine in the choreo as expected. Also, this is one of my favorite Kun hairstyles ugh he looks great. Picking a bias out of all of them is super hard, but I'm pretty set with Taeyong and Kun, and then like 4 other biases in each unit lmao Also yeah when it comes to WayV's hoe anthems, that's usually their b-sides.

Since the creation of SuperM, where they are now taking members from each of SM's most popular groups and creating an Avengers supergroup, I think that was SM's first indication that from now on we need to pay attention, because all of its groups' MVs are somehow connected. If the SuperM Avengers are coming together to help EXO stop the Red Force, I think the members who are part of SuperM are the liaisons who are helping to connect all the groups -- EXO, Taemin/SHINee, NCT and WayV -- together. For example, right after SuperM released "Jopping," WayV came out with "Moonwalk" and I think "Moonwalk" is pretty much a continuation or another part of "Jopping's" storyline. I also think WayV's next MV for their song "Turn Back Time" is also part of that story. With NCT's dream concept, they could very easily connect to EXO's other world and other dimension theories. I even see parts of the story in "Moonwalk" that could be connected to SuperM's "100" and "One (Monster & Infinity)" MVs and EXO's "Don't Fight the Feeling" MV. For example, we also see SuperM in a spaceship or space capsule or on a space station in "100," which I think is connected to the space theme in "Moonwalk." You see Ten become weightless as he floats inside what looks like a space capsule, etc. And, as you may have noticed, Ten and Lucas have a pivotal role in the storyline in "Moonwalk," which I think is because they are members of SuperM and they are coming to gather the other members of WayV to bring them into the fight. I think the apocalyptic scenes you see happening are connected to the fact that at the end of EXO's "Obsession" MV we see the world burning as the EXO members battle their alter ego clones X-EXO for control. And, I think it also is connected to the fact that we see the world burning as if an apocalypse is happening in Lay's "Sheep" Alan Walker relift version MV. (Lay is the Chinese member of EXO.) I also don't think WayV are on Earth in "Moonwalk," or at least not a version of Earth that we are familiar with. I think WayV may be either in a dream universe or in another time and place in the future. Just like how EXO is thought to be traveling between time periods and alternate realities in their search for the Tree of Life and quest to stop the Red Force, etc. The "desert" scenes I think are showing them on another planet or futuristic world. The drones you see hovering around Lucas, I also think are connected to the drones we see in SuperM's "One (Monster & Infinity)" MV and Kai's "Mmmh" MV, etc. So on that note, I think people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups, because I think at least all of SM's third and fourth generation groups' MVs and storylines are being designed to connect stories and plots. Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together there are threads of connection between the groups. And that includes EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/WayV, aespa and maybe even Taemin's solo work and possibly SHINee. Even though SHINee are second gen, they actually fit within the age group of third generation groups, so they sort of bridge that gap between 2nd and 3rd gen. So, now I think SHINee's Fake Reality teaser and "Don't Call Me" and "Atlantis" MVs are SM's way of drawing SHINee into the SM Universe and fully connect SHINee to SuperM/EXO's storyline. Hence Minho in the red room and SHINee in the subway/train station, etc. in their "Don't Call Me" MV, etc.

@@leedongwok86 Not absolutely everything is connected to SM's Universe, but 98% of everything is. And although you may not see connections now to "Tiger Inside" and "Hot Sauce," usually that means that SM is still working on making connections. I can almost guarantee that you will start to see connections being made with future MVs. As I mention, the story is not in chronological order so with every new MV or project from one of SM's groups new pieces are revealed and new parts of the story are put together. You would be surprised the amount of times we say something doesn't make sense, and then all of a sudden SM introduces a new MV and things from the past start to fall in place.

​@@leedongwok86 If you really pay attention to SM's storylines and theories, I think you will find that it's actually harder to prove that things aren't connected than to find things that connect everything together. For example, one theory is that "Tiger Inside" is actually connected to EXO's "Wolf" MV and storyline. If you remember in "Wolf" EXO are beasts (wolves) in a cave or lair and they are using their inner beast to become warriors. In Wolf you also see that EXO are all in white outfits and the set is all white. Many fan theories believe the white outfits and the white cave in "Tiger Inside" is SuperM accessing their beast mode (I.e. their inner tiger) as they prepare for battle with the Red Force. (You also see EXO with glowing eyes in "Wolf" and Lay's solo song "Lose Control," etc. and you see Ten's eyes glowing as he mirrors the black puma (or tiger) at the beginning of "Tiger Inside.") And although most of SM's older groups' concepts and MVs may have never been originally designed to have any type of connection to anything to do with anything, that doesn't necessarily mean that over the years as EXO's story has evolved or SM's Universe concept was being created, that SM didn't find "happy coincidences" within those MVs that allowed them to use them as a way to connect things together. For example, some have pointed to the fact that NingNing's butterfly in aespa's concept could be connected to the butterfly in EXO's "Mama" MV, and some have even made compelling arguments that it could even be connected to SHINee's butterfly in "Ring Ding Dong." Or the blue roses we see in Taemin's "Press Your Number" MV may be connected to EXO's flower/blue rose concept, etc. Now I'm not completely convinced that SM would reach back that far, but it makes you question and consider things. :D I mean we see what looks like the pink planet from Super Junior's recent "House Party" MV and a scene from Super Junior-K.R.Y.'s MV in "aespa's ep.1 - SM Culture Universe" video. And SM has even brought Kangta, who is a member of the very first Kpop boy group H.O.T. which debuted in 1996, into the storyline with his most recent solo MV remake of H.O.T's song "Free to Fly." So it's starting to look like SM may be hinting at bringing all of its artists into the storyline, including their older groups and artists. Just somethings to consider. :D
