Before debut, there were introduced as SMROOKIES. There is a lot of contents about them such as dance practice videos or shows. I would recommend the videos called 'SR15B dance practice' and 'Mickey Mouse Club'. And yeah the 7th sense is legendary debut song✨ Xiaojun has emotional vocals that easily touch your heart but whenever i hear 'OK', i can't help but laugh because it always reminds me of xiaojun's rap😅

Ugh watching this is making me so nostalgic,, i remember getting so excited whenever u recognized a new nct member and feeling so proud hahahahasj 😭🫶 I will always say this: the 7th sense is a one of a kind debut song, i think it's just such a bold song of them to start off with. the ominous instrumental, very laid back but also very impactful, and this unit pulled it off perfectly!! Also to amswer your question: The 127 and dream members were all already signed in and training at that point, both units debuted in 2016, but they didn't have a clear lineup for 127 since they kept adding members (johnny and doyoung in 2017, jungwoo in 2018), also with dream's graduation system, things were overall really unstable for the members at that point and it felt like SM was experimenting with different expansion systems and seeing what works best, without really being fair to the existing members, some examples of that is kun and ten who both debuted in 2016 but weren't in a proper unit till 2019, Johnny who was a trainee for 9 years but wasnt added to any lineup till 2017, winwin being snatched out of 127 with no official notice or statement, and the whole mark leaving dream situation... i could literally go on and on about how badly planned their concept was 😭 im glad SM eventually got their shit together tho 🙌😂

- i've actually never heard the english version of back to you - unsurprisingly, it's just as beautiful! - and yea, the 7th sense as a debut is wild, truly doesn't feel like one - i'll admit, i didn't like it on my first listen, but (as with a lot of nct songs for me) it stayed in my head for weeks and i grew to appreciate it a lot - you may recognize OK because there's a clip of xiaojun trying to rap along to that "my baby says she wants to dance with a ghost" part that gets used in a lot of funny moments videos (that's where i first heard it) - i love the archiving videos! especially the one for pado, i think the color scheme is just so pretty - onewe's song meteor shower is a b-side off the same album as beautiful ashes! also, since you mentioned yuta's solo debut tomorrow, as somebody with 0 self-control i had to watch the teaser and . . . let's just say that i'm both super excited and afraid for my life haha

They were a total of 13 of them (including Hansol) when the NCT Life started. It was before this 7th Sense debut. They were smrookies still. At the time, Taeyong, Ten, Doyoung, Jaehyun & Johnny were the main focus (as SMRookies) as they started doing tv shows, interviews and photoshoot in thailand. Then the other 8 members joined them later in Thailand to go for their showcase. The name NCT was the name of the show- didn't know they were actually debuting with the name 😱 Then in the second season, they became 15 - Kun and Winwin were introduced.

Wow listening to the Onewe stage, their vocals are stunning! I love bands like these guys, Xdinary Heroes, and Day6 so much!! Such talented groups. I've a lot more diving into to do for all of them though! Meteor Shower was my favorite from that album it came in I believe! It came out in the Spring this year I think? I remember downloading the album on spotify so I could listen to it while I was on vacation without internet haha

It's funnier thinking about how many times the non-fluent Eng speaking NCT rappers messing up this part when they first tried(Taeyong, Hendery, Jeno etc.) bc they're actually rappers & it's their part. XJ did it spontaneous during a live w/o really knowing the lyrics

AAAA YAY!!! So happy to see you check out the ONEWE soundbomb 360 especially (and also WayV). For ONEWE, you're right-you hadn't heard Meteor Shower before, it's a bside from the same album as Beautiful Ashes and does not have an MV. But it's so good! ONEWE are so impressive live. And I can't speak to your headphones, but I will say that when I listen to the soundbomb 360, although idk if it's as immersive as the name implies, I do think that the sound quality is better than pretty much any other live recording I've heard. The sound feels richer? More resonant? More similar to when you hear something played live, in my opinion! Also: OT5 is definitely the way to go, they're all so good. And I'm glad you were able to see the lyrics for Meteor Shower as well, ONEWE lyrics are really beautiful (and written by the members themselves). And yes, Xiaojun and Kun are both beautiful, and I'm so happy they were able to let their vocals shine in Back to You. I love both the English and the Chinese version! Thank you for this reaction!

The sound was def very clear! I think I might have misunderstood the concept of it 😅 I think I was thinking 360 ment like a 3D sound effect 😅 but it was definitely a good sound experience!! Onewe lyrics usually are so beautiful and also lyrics I feel like I can often understand a bit ❤️ Kun and Xiaojun really shined in this song with their vocals!!

@MimiGemReacts Yeah I love that song because of the sweet moments with the other members giving me a serotonin boost 😭 the first time that song came on my shuffle on spotify I got so sad 😭 It was a fav, and couldn't bring myself to listen at that moment. Idk how to navigate it, because songs like Rain Day that Kun produced (was his first song he did 🥺💙) I don't wanna not support just because it features him 😭💔 but it's a little tough rn. I will listen to Rain Day when it comes on, but don't think I'll actively search for it for the time being if that makes sense 😕 I would be so grateful if sm releases new versions of somw of their songs in the future 😭 I'm doubting it though. Would be a lot of work, but would be so nice.

The ONEWE performance has 2 more parts, the venue allowed them to do an unplanned encore with a few more songs, which they posted in a separate video, and after it was done and the fans left, Yonghoon and Kanghyun prepared a performance of Still here for the other members and that's on a different video.
