Absolutely going to stress the hard work and effort put into this series already. I can feel the love that went into it, the depth of the characters, and it help keep the pace of the story as well as deliver on the 'show don't tell' rule which was exceptionally well done. Bravo. The teasers at the end---chills. The music and sound design, character differentiations, teasings to things going on without bombarding the audience, all check. It felt natural and that's the aim of the game. I want to shout out to the remarkable writing team that worked on it--I can tell, you guys know what you're doing and it was a great immersive experience. It shows. Shoutout to the voice actors, and of course Inky. Hopefully the series can get traction sooner than later (it's so hard to gain traction these days) but I know this series will blow up eventually and it'll only be a matter of time. I'm glad to say I was here in the beginning! Love the episode. Stoked for more and all the characters to come together (intro music was great btw). Eager for the next one, good luck!

This was both awesome and fabulous!!! I mean the animation is awesome and I'm lov'n the relationship between Cody and Kiba the mother and son relationship is just so cute 😻😻😻 and the foreshadowing is just so wow I can't wait to see you again in episode 2 this going to be amazing 🤩🤩🤩 oh and the fight scene was both awesome and spectacular!!! And little baby Cody was so CUTE 🥰🥰🥰 and Cody get raspberries on his belly was so cute 🥰🥰🥰and Cody wanting his father approval is kinda sad but I hope that Cody gets what he's after in the end and the eye's glowing on the characters is 😎 cool Cody Is just all around Adorable. The burning scene part loxie looked so miserable and when Cody said that he wanted to make his father proud why was he so angry 💢 as I looking at the fireworks 🎆🎆🎆 scene too I was like WHAT'S BOLTS PLAN, ON DOING WITH THOSE and also lov'n the dog with the bow lov'n her accent. I know I said a lot but I just really enjoyed this episode

This series looks super interesting so far :0 I love the mix of 2D and with the 3D backgrounds. The lightning and coloring also looks really good, especially the atmosphere in the prologue! The characters play off of eachother really well ^^ I look forwards to seeing where this series is going!

GAAAH I MISSED THE PREMIERE BUT OH MY GOD!! Inky!! IT’S HERE!! This is everything I expected and MORE! Wayward Light is such a special project, I’m so excited to see the product of all your hard work at last!! For real, you outdid yourself here! The storytelling is absolutely incredible, you have a way with writing realistic characters and interactions that really makes this series something special. Kiba and Cody are SO adorable, I’m actually sobbing at how well they play off of each other and how fun it is to watch them!! And that opening scene was so cool! The way you started out with Cody humming to himself, and that suspicious raven hanging around… it was the perfect way to get me hooked right away!! And dude that fight scene was glorious! The way that the ice looks is so good, and that is difficult to get right! I absolutely loved the pacing and shots, and Cody and Kiba’s catapulting canine maneuver was SO COOL LEJDLWJDJFB And we love to see Bolt totally not buying fireworks for any nefarious purposes, none at all…! xD But seriously. I could gush over how good this turned out all day! Incredible work Inky and team, everyone who worked on this absolutely KILLED it! Wayward light is going someplace special for sure! Sending all the support for production on episode 2!

The animation is better than I expected. Great job! But the 3D realistic backgrounds clash with the art style of the characters to a degree that messes with immersion because it's so starkly opposing. I understand using 3D because it can be quicker and easier to get certain shots. So I want to suggest either using stylized painterly models and textures/shaders that mimic simplicity and compliment your 2D characters, and/or combining 2D and 3D elements for your BG's. Regardless congrats to you and the team on getting your first episode completed and out there. So much work went in and you were able to setup something fun and interesting. :)
