be REALLY REALLY sure before you update. It may be different with the PC but my 1900 Victorian world is played on the Xbox and became so corrupted after I updated that it will not even load now. 5+ years of work gone.

Fun fact: The first ever battleship to launch an aircraft in the manner shown here was USS Texas. Just one of the myriad achievements of my home state's proud flagship. Perhaps the United Colonies deserves a USS Texas of their own...

you seem to be mistaken, scout planes started being launched from "short flight decks [mounted] on top of gun turrets" (the method depicted here) shortly before and during WW1, beginning with HMS Africa (non-moving), HMS Hibernia and HMS London (underway) in 1912/13 - USS Texas was merely "the first American battleship to launch an airplane" in this manner in 1919. However, first experiments concerning seaborne flight were conducted on the cruisers USS Birmingham and USS Pennsylvania in 1910 with a generally similar concept.

Try making a copy of the world and updating that to 1.17 first?
