স্যার ক্ষমা করবেন। কিন্তু অনেকে রয়েছে যারা MCQ করে পরীক্ষা দিতে যায়নি। খুব মন দিয়ে লেখাপড়া করে পরীক্ষা দিতে গেছে। এমন কি বিগত দুই বছর মেইন পরীক্ষা দিয়েছে। তারাও পাস করতে পারে নি। তাদের মানসিক অবস্থা টা কি হতে পারে একবার ভাবুন।

15000+ থেকে 4690। ভাবা যায় না। এটা স্বয়ং আপনিও ভাবতে পারেন নি। জীবন যন্ত্রণায় জর্জরিত। তাই আশাহত। আর কোন অপশন খুজে পাচ্ছি না। হয়তো আর আপনাকে শোনা হবে না। আর এখন আপনার কথা অত‍ি বাস্তব হলেও কেমন যেন তেতো লাগে। হয়তো আমি উপযুক্ত নই। কিন্তু WBCS এর ইতিহাসে 2020 ব‍্যতিক্রম। কিন্তু আমার আর হল না। প্রতি বছর PRELIMS এর উঠতি গ্রাফের হঠাৎ পতন - এটা কর্মসংকোচনের ইঙ্গিত। আর আমি পরাজিত এক সৈনিক। আর 120 বলে কিছু নেই।এবার থেকে হয়তো 130 বা তারও বেশী। কিন্তু এত কম প্রার্থীকে ডাকা ভবিষ্যতে এক গভীর অনিশ্চিয়তার দিকেই নিয়ে যাচ্ছে। এর সঠিক কারন কেউ বিশ্লেষন করেনি।আপনিও নন। প্রতিদিনের বাস্তবতা আমাকে ছিঁড়ে ছিঁড়ে খাচ্ছে। কালকের রেজাল্ট আমার কফিনের শেষ পেরেক ছিল। সঠিক কারন অনুসন্ধান ভবিষ্যতের পথ কে সুগম করে। আর আমার ধূসর ভবিষ্যতের হয়তো কোন প্রশ্ন করার অধিকার নেই তবুও এটা আগামী দিনে এক বড় প্রশ্ন হয়ে থাকবে। বিদায়। সবার জন্য আগামীদিনের শুভকামনা ও আন্তরিক ভালোবাসা রইল।

I too stay abroad (NL) , enjoying my current job and have peaceful balance of professional and personal life, just celebrated 35th birthday, appeared in 2020- preliminary that I couldn't qualify.. Possibly I won't appear in 2021 as I want to avoid travel due to Covid situation. Anyway the reasons of career shift are 1) Realization of a drastic gap between my country and developed countries 2) Realization of a huge gap of thought process/awareness/income/lifestyle etc between me and my neighbors in my native place back in India just because I chased fancy life and stayed away from needy ones. 3) Motivators spreading awareness via online (you are one of them) Assumed , I could contribute on above mentioned first 2 points but still doubt on my dedication and unpredictable future (e.g. COVID) but in between when such videos popup on recommended section , get triggered to step in preparation again hahahaha...larger question still remains "do I have the dedication coz I am on my 36th and competition is ruthless ! Blaming govt or authority would be little foolish in my view (probably lot would agree with me if retrospection done in right manner) If at all next time I appear , certainly will use my reservation because of my age, last time I didn't !

In future, Government jobs are not going to be as secure as of now as strict accountability and performance driven metrices will determine the suitability of an officer and his tenure. Already the Central Services (IAS,IPS,IRS etc) have started sacking non performers and soon the states will also follow. And I think this is the right path to follow too. Glad to know that you are already doing well.

স্যার, আমি ২০২১ এ preliminary দেওয়া র জন্য তৈরী হচ্ছি। কিন্তু আমার এখনও বিএসসি ফাইনাল ইয়ার এক্সাম শেষ হয়নি। এই অক্টোবর এ এক্সাম হবে আর রেজাল্ট ও দেবে। এর মাঝেই চেষ্টা করছি মন দিয়ে প্রিপারেশন নেওয়ার। আশির্বাদ করবেন স্যার যেনো সফল হতে পারি। কাট অফ দেখেছি, একটু ভয় লাগছে কিন্তু আমি চেষ্টা করা ছাড়বোনা। আপনি আমাদের আদর্শ স্যার। আমরা আপনার কথা শুনে অনুপ্রাণিত হই। আপনি সবসময় আমাদের এভাবেই উপদেশ দিতে থাকবেন। যাতে আমরা সফল হতে পারি।

স্যার আপনার কথার সাথে সহমত হয়েও বলছি আমার অন্তত মনে হয় যে, এখনকার পরিস্থিতি তে শুধুমাত্র ডব্লিউবিসিএস কে ফোকাস করে এগিয়ে যাওয়াটা খুব একটা বেশি বুদ্ধিমানের কাজ হবে না। তার পাশাপাশি অন্য পরীক্ষাগুলো দেওয়া উচিত। কিছু একটা করে অন্তত সাসটেইন করে গেলে, তারপর ডব্লিউবিসিএস কোয়ালিফাই করাটা অনেক বেশি সহজ হতে পারে।

Sir I can't understand how such a high cut off in an informative prelim exam can effectively judge the candidates for a conceptual main exam!

Respected sir, Extremely well explained. Your every words in this video is pure gold, and I must also say, that in this recent scenario this is the only way. We have to give more stress and be thorough with the standard text books and move away from solving random MCQs. MCQ Based preparation should ideally mean be thorough with the standard text books and then solve as many questions. And MCQs and also focus on analytical questions. We also have to focus on solving tough questions because since the competition is becoming very high those questions will become the game changer and will help you score better. Adopting a better strategy is the need of the hour, because really competition is increasing year by year. I must also admit that my cut off prediction also failed Abysmally. Dharer kach dio kono prediction jae ni. Ebong amader beloved Saptarshi sir and other respected sirs, those who follow these trends are absolutely right in pointing out that now we have to be very very thorough with the standard text books and solve as many questions (MCQs) as possible.
