It's standard. The chords are A and G in the verse, but leave the top two strings (b and e) open. And there's a Bm in the start of the chorus.

I think he meant for this video. It would be correct to refer to Tegan as the lead singer here because she is literally singing lead. If the song was Alligator or Back In Your Head, Sara would be the lead.
