I watch these sometimes and I can smell an old mountain home with the wood stove burning on a cold Saturday morning while granny made breakfast ❤

oh i dont really like conservatism. it all seems pretty suspicious keeping hillbillies poor while smart people keep getting richer just like the old times.

To grow up in east TN with raw nature is to learn that we are all stewards of nature, and we only benefit when the nature around us benefits. This is every person's responsibility.

Wrll said my hillbilly friend. West Tennessee born and raised but have been making the pilgrimage to the Smokies since the late 70s as a kid. There is something about those mountains that seems ancient. I've never been able to put my finger on it but there is something that draws me there like a calling. I would've loved to have been born to those mountains, that way of life.

I lived in east Tennessee for about 9 years and loved it, the music, the people and the home cooked spirits, Ive been away for 7 years and long to return. While there I found Bill's program on TV, now not having a tv, I blew it up, now Ive found Bill on youtube what a joy. I lived in Blount Co a wonderful place indeed. Ive been lucky enough to hear Charlie several times the last time I/m thinking he was 94 years, Charlie could play anything you could hum

Me too. I live in Georgia. But I have deep and dear memories of my childhood in Tennessee

I’m from Tennessee I now live in Georgia and I see the difference in Georgians and Tennesseans In todays times of development and masses of people moving here from the north Georgia caves in and erases a lot of natural beautiful areas. Tennessee is more strong willed. They protect their natural areas and simply say no. I knew an old woman in a very far in closed off rural area that refused an offer of around a million dollars for her land from developers. She simply said no, I’m not selling. So that area remains the same today and what helps save it is because it’s shut off away from any other towns and surrounded by mountains with inside valleys. I know someone there that had a heart attack and a helicopter had to land in their yard to get them out

I'm originally a South Floridian, now living in Middle Tennessee. But, Florida is definitely separated with North, Central, and South. Culture and way of life differ from each region.
