I sent for a DVD about Boomtown a couple of years ago. On the day it arrived, I had visitors. Still, I couldn't wait to watch it, so I put it on. When he appeared on the screen, something in me returned to six years old. When he yelled out "Howdy kids" I automatically shouted back, "Howdy Rex". Everyone had a good laugh on me!

I am in my sixties and remember Boom Town with Rex Trailer! I totally thought he was out west somewhere 😂! I remember when all the kids lucky enough to be on the show would single file come out and wave to everyone singing Boom boom boom town! Damn! This was all in Boston maybe 90 minutes from me by car!!!😂 Thank you Rex!

I totally enjoyed visiting Boomtown. However. When there was no sign of Goldrush I indicated a desire to meet him. Sure enough Rex lifted a garage like door on the side of the Soldier's Field Road Studio and backed Goldrush in. What a thrill!

I saw Rex at a charity show in Worcester. He was with The Three Stooges. I remember he did some great rope tricks. My brothers and I loved Boomtown.

He, They were our neighbors & family friends. I remember BBQ's by the pool... Some childhood memories remain because of the wonderful times shared. Sudbury Mass.
