Moon potentially could be stronger than anyone, its just he makes things more painful for himself by almost abusing the keeper - archer - dryads build, its too squishy and makes him rely too much on his micro skills. I think having a tankier foundation at the start like the combo DH - Panda Lawliet used to beat Lyn’s mass raiders (which tends to nullify moons micro with ensnare) recently could relieve him lot of pressure and give him some counter strats

The DH is also able to bully heroes like the Archmage during that window where a Human player is investing into their expansion and waiting for T2. It doesn't really matter how many footmen a Keeper picks off in the early game if the Archmage can bully him back to the moonwells with right clicks.

@@timesathousand and on top of that the keeper hits slower because he is ranged, so its much easier for enemies to anticipate and deny their own units, epecially for human palyers since they are the ones killing their own footmen the most. DH has maybe the fastest hits and turns out of all heroes.

Being forced to go DH first (despide that everyone complains about manaburn) tells a lot about how good are the other ne heroes. Might acall NE race DH and friends from now on. Also you need dryads in this fight because you need to dispel the elementals. And you need archers because you need to stop footmen destroying you base and wisps early game. Ne units in general are squishy and harder to micro, hence why they have moon wells which will be buffed again next batch.

that wave of 5 detonates in game 3 was the game changer, i was thinking if i was fortitude there i would have backed off and let brilliance aura and regen scroll do its thing on the return to the front.. woulda lost the towers though

After the detonate the keeper did not use a single drop of mana. That’s why he lost that fight.

he relies too much on his micro skills to compensate the super squishy keeper-archer-dryads build but it makes him work so much harder when sometimes there are better options and eventually even him will make a mistake

Moon makes very simple yet careless mistakes, often times because it seems like he is on auto pilot, like when he walked up the panda for a breath of fire for no reason and with 0 effect then got himself surrounded because of it. As a Moon fan it makes me very sad.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. A TANK with rejuvenation and roar... roar - the item costs 400 gold for ONE use. Rejuvenation is NOT interrupted by hits. Yes, right, they need to be buffed, so they can attack air, cast slow, and poison. And have permanent immolation on them. And they should be available on tier one, and cost 50 gold and no lumber. And use only 1 food. They *might* be ok then, right?

@@hkgammaunlike knights they are slow af, abominations are only for tanking and cloud disease, nobody makes Taurens for the exact same reasons. NE is not really in a good spot right now at the top lvl just being real

Bears are very good, the problem is that all NE besides Kaho have horrible micro and lose them instead of moving the damaged ones away. Fortitude did better job saving his Rifles and casters despite them being a lot more squishy

@@ab-qj3wo I know, the problem is much deeper, is the fact that heavy units are countered by fragile range, this shouldn't happen, it should be the opposite. Piercing attack should deal reduced damage to heavy armor, but we won't see that. But, this aside, bears are probably the best heavy unit, because they are also a support unit, able to cast not one, but TWO very good spells.

@@hkgammayour point is irrelevant, roar and rejuv can be easily dispelled and nullified
