I really like to see Happy in interviews, but host should be more prepared. Happy is a straight forward guy with precise answers. He is always polite and never wants to talk bad about other players. He deservs all the respect inside the game and out!

I think he did a good job personally, I couldn't remember all those questions. Happy is extremely difficult to interview. He's more like an employee who comes to collect his pay check than a player who is geeking out over the event.

I dont get negative comments about Happy, he is actually not rude, he is polite and his answers makes just sence, not bullshiting around. He is very honest and he is not playing any comedy around and if he is not smiling all the time, why he should? In the end he is fking emperor! I would listen to him 1 hour and not getting bored at all. Go go Happy! But my sweat heart guy is just Sok, I love him as well.

Well, as an English tutor in Russia I have to say that Happy looks and sounds like a typical Russian. Answering shortly to complex and personal questions with no emotion and no details is a very feature of the Russians.

Interviewer: Happy, can you elaborate on how best your upcoming opponents should prepare for you? What strats they can expect from you, and how to deal with those strats? What about how they should expect you to deal with their strats? I mean seriously, you could feel through the screen that Happy wasn't fully comfortable with the line of questions and preferred to move the discussion elsewhere. Pre-match interviews should not ask or talk about anything that may be materially relevant to the outcome of the upcoming matches. Happy ends up looking like he's just deflecting the whole time, which he is, and the interview went nowhere cause the dude didn't pivot to better topics when he should have realized the realm of the discussion wasn't appropriate. Questions about him creating consistency through a lot of practice, questions about his goals/expectations... there's are other talking points that don't put the player in a situation where answering questions with any level of specificity can provide matchup advantages to the opponent, or they just have to give deflecting non-answers like Happy does here

He is just not the character that likes to be in front of cameras and talk, that can be seen clearly obvious. But to be fair, his job is winning games and not talking to other people. His streams and videos doesn’t have a lot of views, so all the money he earns is from gaming itself and I love how you can see that he plays only for the money. There is no real fun to it for him anymore it’s just hard work as it is for every pro player

Let’s be fair though, English isn’t his first language and that’s tough for some people Happy could be shy on camera as well. I’ve seen some of his streams in Russian of some other games he’s played and I speak Russian and he has a totally different vibe and also this interviewer didn’t do his best.

The interviewer did very well, anyone will struggle when you're talking to a cold wall like Happy who imo acted very unprofessionally here. Yes I like how Happy is the GOAT of WC3 at the moment but him acting so stuck up and not answering anything meaningful or even jokingly shows that there could be a sad person behind the unstoppable undead force.

@@garn100 Which is why the interviewer should've pressed him on his answers. He sort of did that towards the end, in a non-confrontational way. For most of them, Happy just dodged them with non-answers. Neo was very passionate about RCADIA, maybe he should've been the one grilling Happy.
