And behaved very well this year, but damn, Santa I just didn't deserve such a gift. Incredible series. Spoiler Alert The wise chieftain Lyn leads the horde to victory. I remember how the orcs used to play, pouring all the head hunters into tier 2. I just wanted to shout: “Where is your instinct of self-preservation? Take care of the hunters.” Lyn saves the lives of young orcs, and shows the way to a bright future for the orcs. Loktar Ogar!

Last fight of final game was perfect example of how you take the initiation away from UD by dodging the silence through early hex into a stomp into a chain lightning to immediately take out a big chunk ground ghouls ! Oh my god, this is the comment I am looking for. At that moment, Happy had a 100 food supply with a ton of full mana destroyers, and Lyn was 20 food supplies behind. But this man literally started the fight. With a good vision, he operated his Chief walking into the army and did that epic Stomp to start the war. What a brave gamer!

Greatest series I have ever seen and aside from the fact I am an Orc main myself, the way Lyn kept Happy on his toes by making constant adjustments every map is a testament to his strategy game greatness, he truly is the GOAT!

I always think Lyn is the best. I have not changed my mind even if he lost many times or played bad. No one can beat him when he played like that(2-1 vs 120, 4-3 vs Moon, 4-3 vs Happy). This is the best Lyn we know.

I think Lyn understands that advantage of UD's coil & nova combo can be diluted in a massive war. Although the current balance of this game forces pro players to stick with one or two strategies, Lyn always has been studies and testied new strategies relentlessly. That's is one of reasons Lyn is GOAT. I hope Blizzard guys turn UD's balance not to rely on coil & nova, making players and watchers more fun with this well-made game. Congrations both of you guys!

Yeah,its quite dumb that dmg and healing from DK is proportionally high... On lvl 3 coil he literally gets full hp on his hero which is retarded and literally kill any unit at 1st click .those moments suppose to turn the game around but in meanwhile he gets full hp,not to mention destroyer healings +mana .. There should be some nerfes 1 is enough :lower the healing on coil and maybe lower the cooldown on it for compensation and it should be well balanced i gess.u get a bit more often to use but u need mana for it and your heros managment should be way better when u cant relay on that full hp healing from coil

That's a great point. Coil + nova pickoffs don't matter nearly as much at 70+ supply as they do in low supply--as far as the outcome of the battle is concerned. Can't let the UD run around using hit and run tactics to gain efficiency over time.

Close series, but Lyn rightfully edged it. Happy made WAY too many mistakes, which is uncharacteristic of him, and Lyn had to make a couple of plays perfectly (great stomps btw) to take it.

That's true, but even though he made all those little mistakes, Lyn kept his distance and didn't try to rush and end it, which is a major part of his wins, because happy is just that much of a good player to instantly punish those "head through the wall" moves. It also shows how scary happy can be, that he turns a perfectly huge lead into your misery. It was an awesome series.

Thanks for bringing us another amazing series. But Reemo you keep saying how Happy is playing the wrong opening build with late Crypt in your opinion, that is his adjustment to FS/FL/Walker/Bat cheese, because that strat is tempo reliant and loses to one Fiend with web. Graveyard is there in case he needs a fast transition to Fiends.

Lyn played really well with safe HH and instantly punish emperor's mistakes at crucial times. It's obvious laming style shouldn't be his thing or otherwise it would bite him back instead Would love to see emperor's less reliance on destros and more of ghouls+disease cloud against mass HH, it's clear destros feed too much exp and massing it against mass HH are not so effective, would be better kept for dispel only

@@tank_3487 yes this is a valid issue playing mass ghouls but I've seen happy played better splitting ghouls to 2 and even 3 groups so all ghouls would be scattered apart rather than walking in straight line, just anticipating to get stomped by TC. There was also a time where it's just 1-2 destros and purely mass ghouls that it completely overwhelmed TC from stopping the flood. Positioning is also crucial, more open field is more favorable for mass ghouls than tight spaces that pack everyone together for easy stomp

I think problem was sending solo lvl 1 dr into 8 berserk and 2 hero and forgetting about her. Or losing tp and dk at the start of the game cause you forgot microing. ​@@allydea The foolish thing is to deny that the undead is the only race where you can replenish your mana during the fight with an UNNUKABLE units. For 6 foods you get mana and heal regen and since they cannot be nuked, it is immensely challaning to reach them in the backline without being shredded by the enemy's army. This is something happy started to exploit very well, but then again, no other undead players are on his level. Those who has solid chance to beat him, they are not undead. Trust me if elf or human or orc would have a mechanical healer / mana replenisher unit, happy would fall kinda short. In case of a modern game, this is the point where a patch would arrive to balance it somehow, but it is what it is.

Several patches ago* This patch, HH's nerf are reverted back except +5 gold cost & +2 sec training tome. Overall orc also got their T2 & T3 atk/def upgrade cost reduced as well. So it really helps to null HH's gold cost nerf

Kodos are one reason, but the bigger one I think is that aboms are slow, expensive, high supply, and, critically, hit one target at a time just like ghouls. To win against mass berserker, as we saw, you have to kill them FAST. Their dps is their strength. knocking them down fast is more important than your army's survivability. Cause they'll just kite you to oblivion if you're big and slow.

happy should use ab+wagon+disease cloud against headhunters like he did againsts dryads. It should have some effect.

dryads have lower hp and takes extra damage from siege type of damage, also elf cant devour aboms. While orc havee berserkers which takes less damage from siege and more hp than dryads and more dps, while also have hp regen upgrade. Orcs already have natively countered all possible counters of ud to hh, only ghouls require to be stopped with tc as they are the last option to kill hh (actually i dont think they are really a good counter, mostly threat to hh are high level lich with tons of items).
