I have been watching pro WC3 since 2005(I am one of the OGs) and that 3rd game is easily in the top #5 highest skill ceilling games I've ever seen, which is kinda what you would expect on a big map between 2 ultra-Grandmasters that are not holding back because so much is on the line. The almost precision of the the micro of the 2 players, the ultra-high level tactical decisions mae on the fly, the extraordinary macro play and resource gamble. *Outstading* game. One for the ages. However, this 3rd proves what I said before: Orc cannot eat UD with any build other than with the mass wyvern, FS + SH build, which is a a very risky build since it is so time dependent due to the fact that FS is not really competitive Vs high-level UD heroes. And the reason why this build is so risky is because wyverns are SO squishy and give all SO much exp that if you don't close the game in 2 big fights top, it's over. By the 3rd fig, the UDs second hero will be level 4, and you cannot stop Lich with Orb of Corruption and high-level acid bomb with wyvs. But the two top UDs asked for this by repeatedly smashing the top Orcs over and over again with endless ghouls pushes Vs burrows with a couple destroyers thtow in to dispell whatever Orc has to increase the survivabiity of it's army. Orc is the lame race. It has 2 units, the wyvern and the raider, that were made specifically for laming, not to mention the best ability to do hit-and-run due to speed scrolls and Endurance Aura. If you don't want to get lamed Grubby-style, then don't try to lame the Orcs by taking out their burrows over and over again. Like Grubby said, Orcs were driven to wyvern laming out of desperation because after they tried 10 different builds, against UD nothing worked Never try to lame a lamer.

Not really no… Game 1. Was happy not scouting + using bad start + getting outplayed and countered Game 2. Happy just was off doing stupid things over and over again yet lyn hardly won … ghouls vs wyverns … heroes died like 6 times but still close one… Game 3. Happy won Game 4. Happy Loses ghoul for no reason early in the game, 22:17 video time goes for red camp which he can’t kill… 22:47 he gets creepjacked while big creep is full hp and lyn cleared 2 camps… takes fight without tp and trades lich for bat… lyn get free red camp… goes back to fight without lich loses gargs for free… buyback lich goes to fight without gargs now wyverns air units with ghouls and no mana lvl 2 lich loses fight loses lich … after all of this happy still control map and creeps and is close game… wyrn was not a problem in this game happy was off.. game 4 loses 3 ghouls for free … man in this matches happy just made mistakes over and over again it was not wyrn op. ​@@demetrenikabadze5468I agree, imo Happy has the solution to wyvern. Lich and Alchemist, but with this tactic, it's all about the levels. Lvl 2 nova gives you a chance, lvl 3 nova gives you the win, and usually Happy gets his Lich to high levels, but losing it multiple and having to fight mass wyvern without a strong coil and good anti air just can't work out. Also his items game 2 were really bad. Lich had nothing, no armor, no HP, no invul, no healing. He got focused, he died, the counter to Wyvern was gone, Lyn won. Bad game by Happy, cool to see Lyn win, and Lyn's strat can work, if he slows down first the DK than the Lich with FS. If DK isn't lvl 3, he can't really heal Lich or the army, so you can slow Lich down and then try to snipe him. But if not, Lich nova + Alchemist will destroy wyvern, DK always can pick some and finish them, and the 3 heroes + sustain from statues can solo what's left from the orc. I agree, you can counter Wyvern very hard, if you play well enough, especially with lvl 2 coil on DK and lvl 2 nova on Lich as soon as possible 🤷‍♂️

Necro build is saying "I trade gold for extra wood to tech faster". But any race can do this, other races can simply not put 5 on gold right away and chop wood for longer. Has anyone experimented with that?

Honestly very fun to see shockwave being used on competitive, lke, havent seen in in a long time, and i really like that ability, its fun. they always go with the stomp vs ghouls etc, which i understand but, why not SW? SW lighting, its fun as well u know.

@@twassell25 definitely, counters rifles and kills casters, kills UD ground units, has massive damage value as a Instant cast AOE damage spell (unlike other aoe effects which requires the opponent to stand in the fire and takes time to cast.)

Can someone who actually knows, explain why UD doesn't do fiends vs mass wyvs? At least later in the game? I'm guessing bats make gargoyles a bad idea, but all I ever seem to see vs mass wyvern is a handful of ghouls + mostly destro. But why? How is a magic immune, anti-caster unit the answer vs mass enemy air? I'm genuinely curious.

1. Fiends are too slow 2. Fiends don't give air vision Going Fiends vs Wyvs works if the Orc is careless and lazy. Vs top-tier Orc, Wyvs appear from over the trees, hit a few times, and run away while Fiends and heroes scramble after them trying to see them. Even for an Orc, going vs Wyvs is super stressful. One wrong move and I'm done.

Game 3, Lyn goes BM, so I expect him to lose. Also the video doesn't end, but Lyn usually is far more successful with FS against Happy. Now he has to mix things up. Also Happy has a lucky spawn for expo. Blade can't cancel it in time, Lyn can't go expo easily, it's too vulnerable. Still, I like to see BM, in lategame, with items, it can be such a strong and entertaining hero, especially with TC and SH. I would really like to see the BM more often 🥰 Edit: cool game, but I would like to see orcs go more towers vs destro pushes against the expo. Lyn had the money for 3 the first time Happy attacked the expo, and he could hold, but it was close. 3 towers and a shop in front of them, so they are covered a bit, would help in many games, and yes, orc towers aren't great, but they also aren't that expensive, so imo it would have been a good thing, especially because you know, on this map, with this spawning positions and against Happy, you will have multiple fights on the orc expo

@@SyderalBlex You can't be serious, right? UD heroes are regarded as one of if not the best, and everybody is aware of that. only lategame human trio can contend with them. No matter how bad the fight goes they always have the chance to comeback because of their hero nukes. Ghouls are crazy, you can pretty much kite anything with them, they outrun heroes with boots like nothing. deal retarded damage and can harvest lumber too. statues/destros are literally the best unit in the game, and their orb is batshit broken basically increasing the damage of your entire army with focus fire. Watch any games of happy vs lyn (2best players imo) and you'll see that only way lyn wins is when happy is making mistakes but even then most of the games are still close.

@@tehmastawow There are at least 4 techniques that are impossible for you to stop. 1-Human tank massaging (impossible to stop) 2-Paladin casting light on acolytes and becoming invulnerable (impossible to stop on maps without a laboratory) 3-Wolf Massaging + TC (impossible to stop) 4-And the worst of all the elf fairy massage (absolutely impossible to stop) Infi's crybaby also said that you are op and they will return you to your reality in tournaments. Regarding the heore I don't know which trio you are referring to, definitely the strongest trio is BM+SH+TC followed by AM+MK+Paladin and not to mention that the Dk has the second worst ultimate in the game.

I have collected stats for this monthly tournament (qualifiers, groups and playoffs) and it shows: ORC-vs-UD is 75% winrate. If we exclude Happy - it's 0% winrate for all other undeads combined. ZERO maps taken by all ud (excluding Happy) vs all orc. HUM-vs-UD is 56.7% winrate, if we exclude Happy => it's 76.5% vs 23.5% - it's even worse than w3champions 66% human-vs-ud (2200+mrr). So human won 76.5% maps, and 85.7% of sets. NE-vs-UD is 100% (Happy didnt match vs night elves in this tournament). but UD aren't the only race who suck both tournaments and w3c (2200+ mmr), there are elves also: Human-vs-NE 72.2% vs 27.8%. ORC-vs-NE 57.1% vs 42.9%.

@@Back2Warcraft previosly there were few ud and elves and humans and orc and happy. I did analysis for all All-star league since it's start. UD never had 50+ winrate vs human or orcs (except Happy). Than "balance" patches come in and remove ud (and ne now) from playoffs into groupstages/qualifiers only. Next patch is going to remove ud players into qualifiers and even Happy will not get out of the group. It will be even worse than "golden" wc3 era.
