120 never really use banshee or ghouls, he doesn't like them cuz it takes a lot of micro to make them effective. fiends aboms destroy are his go to units.

Mana from dark ritual depends on current hitpoints of sacrificed unit. So a ghoul in the red gives very little mana

@@thijsjong that and the fact that dark ritual nerfed from 33/66/100% to 25/50/75% reduce mana Regen more. Not to mention it actually cost mana to cast it so the lich might even loss his mana from dark ritual after sacrifice

Happy and Err0, I have a question for you: Why don't you play the Oldschool tactic of fake expo Lich, and quickly T2 and DK, more units and only then the second gold mine, just like before, when Human had no chance versus you. So LYN started playing it again and he defeats Forti because of it. He doesn't build a second gold mine, but he keeps making more units and a second hero, and then he wins. You have also played this way against Human before and you were invincible. ...No chance in start game build next undead expo! ...Come back!! :D ♥ LOVE HAPPY ♥

UD got nerfed. So unfair with water elementals so strong in their current state early game.

It was mainly due to the ghoul nerf. That gave rise to the new king in town, which are knights. Undead has no direct counter to them since destroyers are hardcountered by gyros. Undead has to counter with more micro using hit and run with a combination of fiends, banshees, or aboms. HU needs to mass knights, get three staves, and optionally tanks or gryphons depending on the opponent's composition. Eer0 did some nice adjustments by trying to add the pitlord as the third hero to reduce overall army damage, but Fortitude split his army and avoided a direct confrontation until he had the ideal peak army composition. I think that ghouls should get a slight buff because they're really hard to micro to keep alive. That should keep allow Undead to better survive the early expansion war and to be able to pursue midgame dominance.

@ Since 2023 was ud mirror grand finals in t1 tournament we can assume hu was not op back than. So lets look end of 2023 and 2024 changes: There were basically 2 patches 1.36.1 which was buffs to both hu and ud that was 2023 November. And 1.36.2 which was nerf to hu and buff to ud namely arcane tower nerf + knights nerf while ud got hgm buff with fuends buffs cl buff cirppke buff etc . Only big change from where ud realy started to lose was not hu buff or ghouls nerf but removing healing scroll. Having healing scroll was stupid to begin with so it was needed to be removed for years now. Especially on a race with very easy and many wats of healing: 1. Blight 2. Coil 3. V aura 4. U aura 5. Statues 6. Dagger 7. Caninalaize / Burrow / stone form etc Compared to orc for example: 1. Salve 2. Healing wave 3. Healing ward Also i see lot of ppl complaining about how strong we is. Have you ever played we / blizzard build? No cause you wont have mana we takes most of am mana to cast. We is not strong stand alone , and is free xp in late game, it’s strong only in early game combined with aura which does nothing other than giving mana for we in early game. Is we stronger than nova combined with ritual? Or coil + aura? - if yes now that is different argument… personally i don’t think so but i can change my mind. When ud was dominating year after year every ud fanboy said it’s just happy and just skill issue. Well it wasn’t just happy cause then Why top 1 ud and top 2 were achieving more than top 1 and top 2 of all other races? Why top 3 and top 4 ud were achieving more than top 3 and top 4 of all other races? Maybe it was ud op? Have you thought about that? Now if hu is so strong why there is not same results? Top 2 hu is very behind compared to top 2 ud same with top 3 hu vs top 3 ud etc… maybe now we can really say hu is not op it’s just forty and it’s a skill issue. And my personal favorite, cause every ud answer was “ if ud so op why others don’t play ud” well if hu is so op why happy and 120 and others don’t play it? What is a statistic that makes you believe ud weakest race and hu strongest? According to wc3champions ladder statistics hu is not strongest neither is ud weakest same results on battle net and other sources. When it comes to earnings from tournaments it’s same ud first hu comes second. If you remove top 1 earners of all races still ud 1 and now hu isn’t even 2… same for top 3 and etc

@@Biobin123 what top? ud has 2 overperforming players while never dominating the scene. in this dolphin asian qualifier there's only one undead. where are the other UD players hiding? just compare it to other races. ud won all tier 1 tournaments in 2023 and it may seem like the best race but was never overrepresented in top 16/8 like elves. Anyone can can check most represented race of any tier 1 tourney that have multiple qualifiers and somehow it's not undead.

@ Popular- strongest is not same… some people pick hu because they are humans themselves etc… doesn’t mean everyone plays cause of strength… When did orc dominated? Or hu? At least the way ud did? Like grand finals with mirrors in top tournaments? Like 2022 and 2023 had?
