Poor Madfrog :( he literally doesn't even own a computer anymore lol the only computer in is house is his daughters which she mainly uses and with the limited time in a day that he has and the amount of family responsibilities he has he doesn't spend his time practicing and hates playing WCIII badly. He only came to the tournament because he thought people would enjoy it, he really was not happy about it. I only know this from Grubby's recount of his conversations with MadFrog at the tournament

Grubby was a great choice to cast this event, but not to play it. Come on, we are happy to have him play actively for quite a while now, he's in a great shape, while these other legends are like brought from the past by a time machine. It's really not fair.

Denislav Dankin are you kidding? Grubby shouldn’t even be playing in this event against the likes of Happy and Lyn who are in a different league to him. Do you only watch grubby’s streams and no pro players or something? Grubby is not even close to pro level. The only reason he did so well here is because mad frog hasn’t played for like 10 years. The one time grubby participated in a tournament again recently he only won one map and lost like 7 against third tier pro players that nobody had heard of

When did Grubby officially finished his carrer in 2010 or 2009. And what tournament was his last or something around last you remember? He was the greatest. Lyn started to be great in 2008 and Grubby in 2004 alredy.

He really didnt end it, 2010 he quit professional Warcraft 3 to play professional Starcraft 2 and then ended that in 2013, but 2014 he started his twitch channel were he streams now heroes of the storm on weekdays and warcraft 3 on weekends. So i would say he never was away, he just shifted prioritys.

Early game in game 1 went quite good for frog Neo? In which universe? Lol. He lost a fiend, got SH cancelled(after pulling all 3 ghouls off wood to attack lvl3 bm lol), got creep jacked and had item stolen, and was able to burrow creep the goblin lab and get level 3 bm and expo up ALL unscouted and unharassed.. Orc definitely had the better early game, frog only got level 2 dk and that's it. He didn't even know Orc had expo by the time he quit lol.

No shit. UD barely with any units late game they never get to upgrade fiend and all their units remain squishy as the beginning. Blademaster gains level throughout the game his one hit potential on fiends/statues grow higher and higher and survivability by levels of shadow shaman's heal power. Don't make me laugh.

whole of UD army have to kite and dance around like HU only their base also happens to be as vulnerable - late game - unlike HU and their economy always scrabbling every penny nuff said

IT was quite ridiculous if you ask me, to have Grubby who has been streaming Warcraft 3 forever, go against the past legends like Tak3r and MadFrog and Insomnia, there would be no way for them to have a chance. And the funny fact is that he was to competitive going against those guys, he really wanted to make sure he is the ONLY living war3 legend to date. He is pretty funny, isn't he?

Lol I feel sorry for frog. Quits game due to Orc Imba, comes back ten years later and it's still just as Imba and it's STILL grubby who's Orc laming him still haha. Least grubby isn't using tower laming and camping base like their last showmatch.. Iirc, it was wcr showmatch. Well at least not yet where I'm up to(halfway thru game 1). Guess it coulda been worse and frog could of vs'd a human tower/tank lamer. Sad how blizzard didn't bother to nerf that shit at all, along with nerfing the panda.. I'm guessing that if grubby loses a hero or starts losing he will 100% tower lame to get the win. Already expo'ing in their first game and avoiding a micro game vs frog even tho frog doesn't play anymore lol

if your actually not familiar with warcraft 3, its never had a competitive scene, its was always a 2 race game the winner of which was decided by the recent patch not the best player in the majority of games... much like sc2 is

Lol this "match" wasn't even worth watching, in game 2 frog loses his dk instantly to ensnare/stomp/hex focus and gg's instantly before the fight has even begun. basically the same as game 1.. He just mass creeps and loses 2 acos and then waits for death haha But yeh, I guess anyone with any semblance of intelligence knew that this was gonna be a rape.. Just didn't expect it to be THIS one sided. I hope that frog didn't get paid to play these games.. Put zero effort into it at all :( Lol frog lost 2(!!!) acos to a pair of level 1 wolves during tier1 in game 2 on TR. that's all you need to know about frogs current lvl and how much he cares about winning.. Zero fucks given whatsoever. :( Losing 2 acos in early game as UD(or even 1 if it's during tech) is basically gg. Frog should have just quit then and there. If you're not gonna micro your acos then what's the point of playing on? If you can't even save aco vs lvl 1 wolves you have no business playing vs grubby. All in all, it was nice to see frog again, but he really has no place playing competitively anymore. They should have just got him to play 2v2 or FFA or something.. Or rather, they should of not allowed grubby to play since it's clear he's still active and he would have just walked over everyone else since the other invitees don't even play anymore. Grubby should have just commentated and they should have just let the old school dudes play each other in a purely fun game format.
