I have a question, is an angle grinder an appropriate replacement as far as acceptable standards are concerned? To compensate for inaccurate hammering? And I probably shouldn't say "inaccurate hammering" but more like my personal unorthodox style of hammering, where I hit everything except, what I was aiming for. This technique seems to work for me if done correctly, in a combination with an angle grinder.

It's all about producing product. The more you do the less you will have to use an angle grinder to achieve your product. It's all good to do what you need to do.
