Yep, it is. Plus, it's sounds similar to the Dick Marx "WBBM Channel 2 News Theme" (which WCBS-TV did not use until 1982).

I grew up watching Marsh in the 80s. I remember watching Rolland Smith for a couple of years before he left. I think he went to WOR. There was a clip done by Carol Martin, I think, when Marsh reached an anniversary with the station. They were showing footage of her from the late 70s and I had no idea that she'd been on for that long. I said to my mom 'She's been on THAT LONG?'

While the Norelco PC-70's were still in service. The color reproduction of the set changed considerably after WCBS-TV (and CBS) replaced these venerable cameras with newer Hitachi SK-110's within the next year.
