What a time capsule. This is when downtown Minneapolis was vibrant and interesting.

What a sweet time, I lived down about here as a child of about 10, ducking in arcades and trying to get peeks in the book stores

Part of applying for a job with the Post Office was a driving test. When I took that test in the 90's the guy riding with me was lamenting the Urban Renewal taking place downtown with most of the places ending up being taxpayer supported. "The only block that paid it's own way was Block E with all the porn theatres and they eliminated them."

Very prophetic considering the empty wasteland Hennepin became after its “renewal”.

This looks pretty good for 1978. It would be interesting to see what AI could do to enhance video quality to something closer to modern standards.

Once my mom was in the city with my Grandma and some guy politely said "hi" to my mom, and she smiled and was like, "hi..." and Grandma said, "Get over here! That's a PIMP!😡" 😆
