That's because insurance is nothing but a scam. You use it , you lose it . Same with car insurance. Total out a new car or truck, they drop you like a hot potato. They're not in the business to pay out,ONLY Take IN I FEEL FOR ALL THESE FOLKS.

North Sioux City failed the residents of McCook Lake here. "Let's build a levee to save the town! Oh, but it can stop at the interstate." All that excess water from the Big Sioux ended up flowing west along the levee and completely destroying the area around McCook Lake. They should have built the levee past McCook Lake over to Adams Lake, which is owned by the GFP. No development on that lake, just a nature preserve that will dry out with time.

Obviously it is weather warfare and purposefully forcing rural folks out of their towns

Historic flood? or Poorly maintained, 112 year old dam.? I'm going with the latter.

10:46 LOL . . . most live near the flood zone without flood insurance 😂 11:19 LOL . . . people are often shocked to learn their homeowner's insurance doesn't cover flooding 😂 Floods don't care about your feelings. Now they get to take personal responsibility.

The Dakota are missing 38 bodies who were hung by Abraham Lincoln on Dec 26th 1862, so please keep a look out.

What about the Ojibwe who attacked the Dakota on May 26th 1858 and killed 200 Dakota natives? That's a considerably larger number of death. Seems kind of racist to pick a smaller massacre just because it was done by a white people who was just doing what everyone was doing. Throughout history, people have killed each other over and over again. I'm just curious why it's only bad when white people do it. Can you help me understand that?

Minnesotans elected a governor whom thought "it was helpful to see the water moving so fast" during a dam failure flood😂😂

A hurricane IAN did this to me . I empathize with these folks. I know how it feels to see your home in such a condition. I was without power for such a long time. I couldn’t get in my house to stay. My freezers all melted. ( Bloody Mess ) to clean up when I could get in. My insurance was fantastic. I’m still not all put together yet but I’m able to be home. My heart breaks 💔for these folks. This is hurricane season again in Fla. so I know your worries. Love to you all. ❤

Meanwhile, how many countries have done cloud seeding? Is that being regulated internationally? Do we really know what the consequences are? Could it be linked with flooding?

Flood insurance is so expensive too! Easily an extra thousand dollars a year.

As it should be, flooded houses are expensive to repair.

Ah, the choices we make in life can lead to stupidity. When ya live near rivers this can and will happen. Thank God I have common sense and chose to NOT live by a river. Imagine my surprise when I never flood! Derrrrrrrrrr

Historic as in… history repeating itself. The mighty Mississippi goes where it wants, when it wants. Ain’t the first time.
