The West Coast Expressway is a privatization project approved by the Government for West Coast Expressway Sdn Bhd (WCE). The project operates on a build-transfer-transfer model. The project is expected to be completed in five years.
The West Coast Expressway (E32) commences at a junction with Selangor State Road FT31 which runs from Banting, Selangor and ends at the ramp of Changkat Jering toll plaza of the North-South Expressway at Taiping, Perak.
It is planned and designed in such a way that it is well-connected to the existing highways (such as PLUS, SKVE, NKVE, NNKSB, LATAR, KESAS, etc.), to maximize its coverage and gives road users more options while travelling.
The entire expressway with 21 interchanges will provide convenience to users to plan and travel more efficiently.
