luckily youre so fortunate but some folks are Legally blind and cant appropriately address her because they cant read the smaller one. Everyone isnt the same and some folks have it much worse. Us medically healthy people really take A LOTTTTTT for granted and this is MOST obvious when thinking about The Deaf and blind. Like deaf people miss a lot of good content on youtube (auto CC's are terrible!!! especially if theres even a slight accent youre not gonna know wtf is going on) They have hard times at drive throughs, and so many other things that we dont even consider or give a 2nd thought.

Agreed, it is degrading. I live in Canada...several years ago, I sat in court and watched a 9 day sexual assault trial. It took the accused man 4 years and every dollar he had, plus selling his home, to get his name cleared, finally was fully exonerated. It was the most bizarre case I have ever seen. In that trial one day, a witness was testifying, the judge had his chair turned side on to the court, looking out a window picking his teeth and then quickly turned and said..."could you repeat that, that sounded important..." People in court were shocked to say the least. Too much to write here, but there were many things wrong with the investigation, trial and much more. It should have been thrown out of court the first day, even the Surpreme Court said so and it was obvious the judge and prosecutor were malicious and biased. No kidding, no joke and no lie....one of the prosecutors witnesses had a summons but still did not show up for trial! Judge did not care, didn't even mention her in his trial summary!!!

If this is direct questioning it is not allowed but it sounded like cross examination and at that point it is allowed. However, there are several types of questioning in different circumstances and there are certain times that leading questions are allowed.
