Not if a Jack and Jill. The point is they draw random partners to dance with. That said, it's entirely possible that the two were in the same classes and danced together before and they were aware of each other. If you look carefully, you can see he subtly leads, blocks her, or starts a sequence (such as the heart walk) where you can see she recognizes it. That said, it requires a ton of skill, ability to keep dancing, recover, and for Leo to adjust if his lead turns into something he wasn't expecting. Yes, WOW, but top dancers can do that.
