You also have to remember that a lot of guys who would later be focal points in TNA are coming up in this period (Styles, Daniels, Low-Ki) so that could play a factor in your booking

I've read (and in your case, watched) a lot of fantasy booking diaries in my day but this has to be my most anticipated ever. A WWF-owned WCW brand in 2001 with an emphasis on realism in terms of the Warner contracts? Count me in! If you're real desperate for some star power and solid product direction, I don't think it's beneath you to snag a handful of *ahem* extreme wrestlers already on the 2001 WWF roster (besides those outside the company you highlighted in the vid) for a good ol' invasion angle. Might even be a certain Giant worth rehabbing beyond that down the line going into 2002. Regardless of what you do, I'm really looking forward to this!

I had to rewatch the video to see who you already had under contract. I feel like theirs a few more talents that some may have forgotten that ended up in ovw or hwa or signed but never used.!! Also wwe had lot of major talents absent cause of injuries but I can’t remember when their contracts was up. Good solid heel team would be faces of fear sometime in September or November. Jerry Lynn should be available in November as well for the cruiserweights.! Theirs the road warriors that be interesting to use as well. I’m sure theirs plenty of free agents depending on the route you go. Talents that are under wwe developmental could becoming up as well.! 2001 is one of more favorite years until wwe/Vince kinda of didn’t give us all the dream matches that he could’ve gave us fans.! I’m not sure what the rules are for ecw talents cause some did go wwe right away after January or after WrestleMania. It all depends how big you want roster to be and the talents you want.!

Cause by the end of wcw their were talent like medium and smaller guys almost like today talents. Unless you have weight class like njpw. I wasn’t totally fan of wcw tag division during 2000 when you still had some powerful teams like kronik or Harris brothers or random big man like either Steiner brothers or etc. facing guys like Rey & Juvi or Rey & Kidman.! Then you also had teams like Raven & Saturn , vampiro & muta, Dean m & Benoit and etc.! It all depends on the route you go.! In a year from now TNA and Roh supposedly show up. if you go ahead use nwa wildside as a developmental place and revamp up wcw power plant like a wwe performance center or something. U can most all the guys that were big stars in Roh & tna slowly developed them in bring them up to wcw roster. Unless you gonna let Jeff Jarrett create tna & also allow Roh and all the other small Indy to show up.! A lot of potential and possibilities and always want to do a good invasion storyline. Most mods weren’t good unless you edit alot of stuff.!! Obviously Heyman is off the board unless you give him a short wwe only commentary contract considering lawler came back.! Imagine if Shane found a way to bring in Eric & then Paul h as well.! Heyman start criticizing Eric even though most of Eric buddies are older but he used some of the new blood stable members to feud with certain ecw talents.! I’m not sure if u could bring in ecw title into the mix or wwe owns them.! Like said anything is possible but I really enjoy this year. Especially the debut of tna.!! Maybe wcw falls cause it’s a toxic place to be and you end up going to tna in kind of 2002!!!

Should be up today :) As for 2016 WWE, I played TEW at the time and had a lot of fun in that time frame. There was a mod around this time I looked at and considered. Lots of potential there, and was on my list for potential future saves.

Playing this on TEW 9....And RVD is a MUST !!! And Lance Storm is a work horse to build around. Going to make Booker my Rock like character. DDP would be a great Heel but I'm using him to get some younger guys over.(Storm, Helms,Kidman) Signed alot of TNA stars and giving them a good push. O'Harie is a star in the making.

I wonder if you allow TNA and ROH to launch. Since you're in Charlotte,NC, you gotta bring in Ric Flair on at least a PPA as a on screen personality. Booker T and Buff Bagwell can both be an amazing top heels. And DDP can be your top babyface with the RVD and Rey Misterio as the next big stars.

I've tried a couple 2001WCW real world mods. Dunno why but they're all so difficult. All the top guys on the roster were toxic and no matter how well you book morale drops every week because of top guys meddling backstage. I restarted a couple times and gave up after 3 months gameplay. Gosh I hate WCW. I will give this mod a shot though.

This is really interesting. Its gonna be really hard to do but if you save TNA in 2010, you can save WCW in 2001. Hey Book, what do you think of rebooking the first TNA show? I got really curious of what you could do for the company on their early days

I've often considered a TNA from day one game, as they did a lot of crazy stuff early on. I'm not sure there's a mod from that exact time frame, but interesting for sure.

@@WatchTheBookerman You can play this with WWF being invaded by WCW. Started as unemployed, sim up to May 2002 (or whenever TNA starts) and apply as booker. I've done it with WCW lives mod as Vince Russo.
