It looks great but not really accurate, whoever created the arena should have picked a smaller venue (NXT for example) since the venue used for the Golden years of WCW Saturday night (Universal studios) was pretty small.

@jonathanturbide2232 while very true, given that it's 2024 this almost assumes that WCW grows some. So I see what they're trying to do with it, and some of the other set designs I've seen. It's cool. It almost kind of looks like the Sunday night set.

Amazing rumble and I love that classic wcw arena. Now I wish WCW had rumble matches back in the 90s. The World War 3 battle royals were very sloppy.

It really wasn’t… I was a super wrestling fan.. While kids were going to blockbuster to rent games.. I was renting wrestling videos… I would get my share of WCW videos.. and they just weren’t that good in comparison to WWF.. no matter the gimmick.. they would have two rings with cages and it still was boring… I really can’t explain what was lacking though .. maybe you could help me figure out why WWF was better.. was it the writers, the wrestling, or a combination of both?

WCW had 2 good years 97 & 98 mainly due to the NWO storyline with crow Sting & then Goldberg's win streak, wrestling in the early 90s wasn't that good in either company until the attitude era which NWO sparked that, WWF had the better wrestlers in early 90s before some jumped to WCW in 94 95.

One issue I have is that Hogan in the WWE games NEVER looks "right". I always make my own "Hulk Hogans" when I play a WWE game lol. The problem is that Hogan had back surgeries that reduced his height and it massively changed the look of his upper body. He literally lost 3 inches in real life. When they began re-introducing him in WWE games after the acquisition of WCW they used his then-current body shape and it was alright of course. But for literally decades after they seemed to be using the post back surgery Hogan look even for younger versions of Hogan. They also never get his hair color right lol. It's either too yellow or just plain white. IMO it's pretty ridiculous to not make the best rendition possible of this iconic character. The Hogan of WCW was much thinner because he stopped using the roids for a time after the scandal broke out. This Hogan right here looks more like the WWF late 80's Hogan IMO because he's too bulky to be the WCW Hogan. But overall it was a fun rumble to watch. Anyway, nevermind the rant. Good video.
