Love talking about Parker and learning more about things, just ordered the book. I can tell you now though the stuff you guys think you know about Parker in this video is not actually correct. So at the moment I'm very on the fence about what I've heard you guys state. FYI, I helped with the research on a book many years ago, I'm not going to say which one because you'll all know it. Their is a lawyer in Memphis who emailed us documentation with detailed analysis including proof through documents he obtained from many sources, including Parker. His report was shocking to us at the time, as from memory it was to the court. Parker wasn't even emailing the statements to Priscilla as co-executor and the other executors weren't well versed in certain things. I can't recall his name but you would be shocked if you saw what money Parker was taking via Boxcar which I think he registered in 1974. I'll go so far to say that Parker was definitely taking far more than he should have been, he pulled the wool over Vernon big time and Elvis. If you really want to know what went on rather than what Colonel Parker told someone or someone overheard, read that report.

Merry Christmas Spa Guy, Trey and all. Thank you for mentioning this podcast in your latest video Spa Guy. I remember you mentioning a potential podcast at one point but thought it didn't happen. Glad to be on board now. This is a great video. Will pick up the book, like I did Destined to Die. I did buy Marshall's book with Sonny West a few month's ago. I didn't realize until this show that he was the one who wrote it with Sonny.

Just wanna point out that Elvis wasn’t the only one to have an iconic pink Cadillac. Sugar Ray Robinson also had one.

Great video!!! In this video, there was a very interesting question about if Elvis had gone head to head in the mid-60's against the Beatles, would Elvis have packed the venues and out performed the Beatles? The answer is... if Elvis had chosen to take on the challenge to out number one the Beatles, then yes, he absolutely would have risen to the challenge and performances the likes of which we can only dream today would have occurred and grandchildren today would be hearing endless stories of those concerts. When Elvis chose to do something and, almost as importantly, when Elvis and the Colonel both worked to meet a challenge in which no one else could succeed, Elvis and the Colonel triumphed. As stated in this video, this could not have been the 50's Elvis and it could not have been the 70's Elvis, it would have been what was stolen from the world of music by Hollywood, the 60's Elvis. Why was there no 60's music Elvis? Because Elvis was full of fears and chose to continue in Hollywood, which is probably what I would have done because he was #1 in Hollywood and no one could knock him off the hilltop. On a side note, I recently read The King Of the Jungle by Erik Lorentzen in which there are images of the Singer Special contracts. The first contract is between Colonel/Elvis and NBC in which there is a requirement for Christmas songs. Once Singer came onboard, there were several revisions of the contracts. Very early in the Singer contracts, the requirement for any Christmas songs is dropped with the option left open for Elvis to perform a Christmas song if he chooses to do so. The other very interesting item in all of the Singer contracts is all personnel named in the contract above the level of director is required by one of the parties, but all of the parties (Singer, NBC, Colonel/Elvis) make it very clear no one requires Binder and don't care if he is or is not part of the production. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in the Singer Special as the contracts are a treat to read. Keep up the great Elvis discussions!!!

"When HE / ELVIS Lived that kind of LIFESTYLE" - BUT Yet THE COLONEL Could Live his VEGAS / Gambling Lifestyle???? GAMBLING!!!?? OK - So With Elvis's ( 45 ) Min 1972 Interview He did While Filming EOT -- Which I have and listened to MANY Times -- IN WHICH The is part Elvis talks about HATING Doing His Movies - WAS CUT Out of the AUDIO because Parker made them cut it with Elvis talking during EOT -- BUT The FULL 45 Min Interview was Release Later ON -- but there is a SECTION Where Elvis Say "Oh, The Colonel You want to know about The Colonel" EDITED OUT -- Clearly edited out - Where Elvis starts talking about something Else -- IN THE AUDIO ELVIS SAYS - YOU COULD NOT PAY ME ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY TO EVER DO THAT AGAIN! ( MAKING MOVIES ) -- ELVIS SAID I GOT SO SICK RUNNING FEVER / STRESS / NO SAY IN PRODUCTION AND THEM MAKING ME OUT TO BE WHAT "HOLLYWOOD" WANTED ME TO BE IN THOSE PICTURES --- I COULD GET A SCRIPT AND READ 3 PAGES IN AND KNOW IT WAS THE SAME MOVIE BASICALLY DIFFERENT ACTORS -- BUT HE SAID IT WAS A JOB!!! AND I HAD TO DO IT!! The Directors Producers Did the Interview Pierre Adidge and Robert Abel

I listened to an interview with Alanna Nash who actually met the Colonel with Loanne while researching her book. She actually went to his memorial service and tells a story where Loanne had her ejected after it was over. Loanne was fiercely protective of Colonel and didn't appreciate the contents of the Revelations of the Memphis Mafia book.

Hi Trey, listening to a recent uploaded Joe Krein video where he interviewed Loanne Miller. Loanne stated that in the settlement with EPE, all documents, all memorabilia, anything to do with Elvis and the Colonels time together was sent to EPE. That being the case, what copyright documentation did the authors have access to that they weren't able to use in the book as any form of proof? I'm struggling with some of the claims here.

I can only imagine what Elvis himselvis and Lisa would think about all the Priscilla bashing going on..... It seems too many fans can't deal with reality and need to blame anybody but the man himself for what happened..... Grow up people!

Elvis is at fault for shortcomings in his life just like any other human being. Thats not to say he wasn't taken advantage of though, and extorted at times out of money, Elvis should have never married, and unfortunately Priscilla took him for every cent she could get under law, then asked for more later, then extorted his estate in death. End of story, that's what has happened. People see it as injustice, that's why 'Priscilla bashing' is so strong 50 years later.

I've seen the Blanchard report, 133 pages with 33 exhibits. WCWAM IS this video, dropped the ball here and both biased to Colonel Parker. You guys don't know what you don't know, need to read that report, my guess is you'll want to remove these videos once you do.

@@Wcwam Elvis is ultimately responsible, Colonel was simply not transparent in a lot of his dealings with Elvis. Some of the advance payments Colonel got from RCA Elvis had no knowledge of. All of this uncovered by Tual.

@@Wcwam Elvis is responsible for what happened to Elvis. My point is Mr Tual identified that Parker was not transparent with Elvis & Vernon in many of his dealings. It's all contained in Mr Tual's report, and the amended version he submitted 6 weeks after the court broadened his powers. Can't for the life of me understand why you would consider the independent lawyer appointed by the court as LMP's ad litum would write a bias report on Parker.
