I found this one a lot easier than the normal mode, actually. I use high rarity operators so like, Hoshi can tank the Emperor's easy with two medics, for example. But man, that last wave almost makes me lose. God bless support unit Thorns

@@Dianbler I was never a fan of stalling strategy, I hate it. I always either one-shot or spawn kill the bosses with my meta ops. I still manage to kill it using deploy and reatreat strategy with no stalling. It requires proper positioning and timing. I used Surtr and Aak to kill the boss in his final phase, I didn't know that Aak can make a huge difference in this stage.

But I stopped playing for a while so I don't have the more new meta Operators like Sutr or Thorns. Hope to get lucky with Sutr, tho. Waifu. Still, I'd probably play around to see what can I do on my own. I kind of like the Emperor's mechanic whith the cloud.

@@hermeister3870 Nah, pretty sure they are playtested, untested levels are just asking for exploits and bugs. Problem is what HG think is good enough to go live, from what i remember one of their staff in the anniversary shows them playing with low rarities, they won with two leaks, which is in term of playtesting is not good enough. Also it seems every playtesting are done within the gameplay division alone, so they have no data of how an actual players will react because their division has everything noted out which result to unforeseen bullshit making levels just a trial and errors until they work, they should've make the other division like the art division to play the alpha version of the level to see how they will react.

I was pissed off when looking the 7 tiles they banned for CM, I was able to kill the drone with Ash S2 just in time and used Mountain to make easier the central mobs but now the strat I used is literally useless, got to make several changes. Looking forward to this guide as always. Edit: I made it with Ifrit, Surtr and Saria S3 plus Heavyrain. Heavyrain made it possible.

Props to Kyo threading the needle with that SA placement. And if you bring higher rarity ops with this strategy, it makes the level a breeze, as it removes almost all tight spots. Doing so allows you to braindead tank the waits for redeployments.

3 months later, even after Twilight of Wolomunde Rerun, this is still the most demanding event stage ever. Took me an entire night, prob 4-5 hours straight of retries. The feeling of accomplishment and closure after that was immense. Then there's Ch'enlungday's EX-8 CM, which was only slightly annoying, but not really hard at all. Here's to waiting for the mini-annihilation and the side maps CM. That's where I'm expecting the real torture machines lie.

It's not so clear due to the smoke effects, but the spot just below cuora at 16:50 is not in the dominion, so putting silverash there facing up would have all three in one go.

Came here for the rerun of A Walk in the Dust on global. The enemies are affected by the Dominion -50 ASPD penalty once the Emperor's Blade dies, so you can put defenders in position to keep the enemy trapped in the Dominion while medics/DPSes are outside of it; this reduces the last 5 enemies' damage output once they drop below 50% HP. There is no risk from Collapsing Fear instant killing your units and your defenders aren't meant to be dealing damage anyway.

around the end when we put down SA to kill the red imperials I've put Midnight one block below that to lure the dominion so since there was dominion I had to put SA where Kyo originally puts Midnight to lure the dominion in the first phase (2 or 3 block to the right of blue box) and I took Gravel instead of Melantha so when I activated SA skill to kill the one on the right I blocked the one coming from the left with her which kinda pushed it into the blue box which is inside SA skill range. So you can say that I hit 2 birds with 1 Schwing

If you have them, you could use a diffrent strat and one shot his second phase. Bring chen and warfarin and guardmiya if needed. Oh and surtr may or may not be needed, and silverash to for the drone thing. So here's what I did, place myrtle next to blue box to the left to generate dp, place 3 ops above the ban tiles above the blue box, another operator on right side to take care of that lane, healer to heal the two operators on right side. Your setup should look something like 3:30 in the video, minus the sniper and other healer on the left. Place SA on left next to drone spawn and then surtr below the tile where the boss stands when he spawns in. Surtr his hp below half, and make sure you retreat, don't wanna deal too much damage or stay for too long where he insta kills surtr and operator in the middle above the 3 ban tiles. When the drone spawns drop a random operator after retreating myrtle to bait the second and subsequent attacks and schwing schwing it down hopefully SA survives, you might need silence for drone skill. When retreat the operator bait and sa once the drone is dead. Place gravel on tile where the boss's first waiting point is. Place warfarin facing up above tile where the healer on the right is, she will heal gravel and using drone from silence you can stall the boss forever. From left to right the 7th ban tile and the tile above it place chen and get her skill ready, if you can't one shot with chen and warfarin alone then bring guardmiya (don't worry there's space for her) and place her on the right lane to the right of the pot/fountain looking tile. Once everything is set replace gravel with surtr and wait. Also the enemy that gets more dangerous at 50% hp will go to the side where chen is at, feel free to use her skill on it, you will just need to stall longer with gravel to get her skill ready again. Okay so the plan is set, once surtr deals enough damage and phase 2 starts, use surtr's skill and stall his invincibility phase, once its over retreat surtr before you get 25% of his hp so he doesn't get a resistance boost in the tile you will one shot him in. Use warfarin's skill then place gravel at the top of the far right lane where the tile above amiya is, use chen and/or guardmiya's skill and burst him down to death. Retreat guardmiya and gravel after the attacks hit that leave the smoke. Now you have to deal with the enemies that spawn after he is defeated. Placr SA in a spot to kill all the guy in the middle lane, and the two on the left lanes. Chen should take care of inner right lane and outer right lane should be stalled untill surtr or someone is ready to kill that one. Place that operator or surtr, use their skill and chen aswell to kill the one she is facing at that moment and mission accomplished. Phew done, I'm not good at making guides like this but hopefully you found this useful, if it even made sense in the way I worded it. Good luck in the future fellow doktahs.

Oh God I have no words. I'm just, happy. Took about 24 hrs of gameplay with my low trust ops, using this route, but adapting to everything too. Only having SA elite 2 lvl 55 mastery 2 from my friend support. Everything just collapses my gosh. I might be the one with the hardest experience on this level. Imagine having to block one of the 5 dudes that comes after emperor's death with Zima elite 2 lvl 1 for around 40-60 seconds lmao (she's my only elite 2 on the squad that I used) Thanks for this route All is worth it for Ex-wife Kal'tsit's Medal haha

Quick tip: do not use a defender with more than 400 attack to tank the first phase or the boss will drop below 50% HP while Silverash is killing the strikers. I recommend using Croissant, Bison, Cuora... to tank the first phase while deploying your actual best defender (Hoshi, Nian...) in the middle (Cardigan's position). Just dont switch defender before the boss die. After that you can redeploy the best defender to tank the boss's second phase.

Got it, thanks! SilverAsh is a hero once again! Glad I finally got him 60 and M3! If possible, it will be a good idea to use Shining, Saria, and or Silence. Silences E2 Has a drone that can save any unit from getting knocked out. Saria's S3 well, is just OP. And Shining's E3 is a must, when the main boss is in his second form. Extremely high healing and 70% defence buff at skill 7. More the enough to Cuora healthy. And it lasts for a ridiculously a long time! 😁 Honestly Kyo, it's amazing you are able to do this with mainly 3 & 4 star operators. And thanks you! Because when I started out, I DIDN'T have any rare units, or if I did, I didn't have the mats to promote them, But! It was your channel that help me get all the rewards, so I can promote, and build them!😁

it's precisely cuz ur using a full 6* squad ur not able to clear it easily. 1. 6* has higher DP requirements and Higher redepolyment time. 2. 6* has higher stats meaning if you're stalling you will accidentally deal damage over threshold and put the boss on certain phases. 3. You can't perform a quicker rotation for repositioning your team. VS this boss. the best operators are 3-4* ones. since you will constantly move your operators around the map and usually all 4* and 3* are max potential so you're going to have an easier time. The boss has an annoying mechanic you have to go around.. But all 6* is easy IF you have all 6* in your squad at max potential and all m3.. that is different.. you can just unga bunga this boss honestly. just use SA and Surtr alternatively. in the boss full rotation in the map is enough for you to murder him with these 2.

@@boundforglory13 youre either using silverash skill too early or not placing someone else to take the bait. i did it with no pot level 70 SA and it worked. remember silverash can only handle getting hit by one shot from the drone, not two, and he loses defense during silverslash so you need to wait until after the first shot to use it

@@boundforglory13 Hi, I finished the stage last night with E2L75 SA pot 1. You had to make him take one hit from the drone then deploy a fast-redeploy to bait the rest of the attack before using the skill. My SA barely survived but at least he managed to kill the drone

@@oredcchi well i did eventually beat it i was using the skill too late to kill the strikers tss needed to be activated just as the bomb hit him to kill the two strikers before they killed him. the strikers were way more threatening than the drone then again, i did a 4 medic 5 defender strat and kept the boss stalled with nian and had to be almost frame perfect with my sa skill and deploy timing otherwise nian got deleted. i literally forgot how op silences drone was when stacked with perfumers passive regen with skill 2 active and a lot more stalling, honestly the 20 minute clear was super clean if a few single digit hp survivals dont make it look messy but would have been much cleaner if i had a maxed cardigan to stall with instead of using nian cardigan can stall this boss for hours 1damaging him to death, level would have been easier if the two lv 90 sa on my supports werent horrible 1 only had lv7 skill3 the other had skill 1 m3 equipped, who even m3s his skill1?
