This is a Motocross Highlights video of The Fastest 2 Stroke Riders In Motocross History. This video starts with 125cc highlights and finishes with 250cc highlights. This video asks the question of who is the fastest 2 stroke rider and gives a video review of several different riders so that you can make a decision. There's really no particular order when it comes to the different riders in this video, it just shows some epic 2 stroke racing from the 1990s and early 2000s. This video shows both Supercross and Pro Motocross in both the 125cc and 250cc classes. Also, there are some bonus videos of each rider shredding there 2 strokes. Riders include James Bubba Stewart, Travis Pastrana, Ricky Carmichael, Sebastien Tortelli, Kevin Windham, Mike LaRocco, and Doug Henry. Comment below who you think is The Fastest 2 Stroke Rider In Motocross History? Enjoy! #2stroke #motocross #supercross

Great video. I'm going with Stewart as the fastest on a 125 and RC as the fastest on a 250. There were times where Tortelli and Windham could be untouchable, but more often than not, RC was too much for them. I don't think anyone has gone as fast on a 125 as Stewart to this day. Bring the 2003-2004 James Stewart and that Kawi he rode forward in time to 2023, and he would still.smoke anyone's ass today on a 125. Even on today's bikes. If there were a way to do that, I'd bet everything I own on Stewart. 2003 Mxon...RC on that CR250 did something beyond legendary. Only RC could have pulled that off. That's one example of why I give him the nod as the best ever on a 250 two stroke.

@@padna7946 I agree, but it wasn't just Carmichael who beat Stewart when Stewart rode the 250 two stroke. He got beat by other riders as well. Look at the dominance of RC when he rode the 250 two stroke outdoors against the 4 strokes. He straight up whooped Everts on a Euro track while on that CR250 with Everts on the 450 four stroke. He even came from a long ways back in the pack. Stewart got straight up whooped by Everts at 2006 mxon even on a 450 four stroke and Everts 34 years old going into retirement. In a full season I'd bet the farm that Carmichael would defeat Stewart at least 8 out of 12 races if they were both on 250 two strokes.

Stewert, Pastrana, Carmichael, and that era never had the competition like Wardy, Johnson, Lechien, Omara, Bailey, Glover, Hannah, Bell, Cooper, and that era! I don't think the Carmichael era would have had the success that they had, if they had to race with Wardy and Johnson. The Wardy era was way tougher! Especially in Supercross! There were a lot of dirty riders back then. The Wardy era laid the blueprint for the Carmichael era! Here's my top 5 in Supercross! Rick Johnson, Jeff Ward, James Stewert, Jeremy Mcgrath, Ricky Carmichael. Outdoors top 5. Stefan Everts, Jeffery Herlings, Bob Hannah, Eric Geboers, James Stewert. I would have loved to see all these riders in their primes race together on identical machinery, and the wettest, muddiest, bumpiest, toughest track in the World. @@davide5431 At Unadilla that day, way back in 1989, Stanton was there, but riding the 125cc support class, because he had raced the 500cc USGP earlier that year, and riders could only compete in one GP class per season in those days. This Unadilla race would be Stanton’s only pro race ever on a 125-he was trying to prove to DeCoster he would be a worthy pick for the small bike for the des Nations. He went 1-1, beating that year’s top 125 riders Mike Kiedrowski and Damon Bradshaw. Stanton would never need to race a 125 again, though. By the time des Nations rolled around, Johnson was struggling with the wrist, and Stanton got the 250 spot. Per JS - "That GP where I rode the 125 support class (1989) was great because I had never raced 125’s and I beat the guys who were racing and winning the nationals that year. I seen Carmichael at Steel City sfter he had already locked up the 250 title jump on a 125 & lap everyone except 2nd & 3rd place. He was 3 seconds a lap faster than any on a 250 that day

@@wd840mxhighlights I hope they bring some 300's into the mix. Either way I think some riders would do better on a 250 than a 450. They need more options for riders. Hell I wouldn't mind seeing the Stark Varg out there when it comes out

@@wd840mxhighlights yeah but that would never fly because they are woke and don't like 2 strokes. Thats why they stopped improving 2 stroke motors in the late 90's and focused on 4 strokes because of environmental protection in California where all of the factory teams and American headquarters for the companies were and it limited them on r&d and time on the bike. You can watch the Kaplan America channel doing 2 stroke dyno runs against 4 strokes and see that they didn't move away because 4 strokes are superior
